Astroglide is a water-based lube that can be used for a multitude of things: lubing up sex toys and bullets, slicking up fingers, smearing across breasts for massages and tit-jobs, or during intercourse. Astroglide is thick and INCREDIBLY slippery - seriously, this has to be the slipperiest lube I've ever used! The lube is thick enough to be used in anal play and with beginners or those with smaller openings, but not so goopy that you cannot feel any sensations but slickness. Despite it's slipperiness, Astroglide still provides a nice amount of friction. You'll like Astroglide for its great job at wetting things up - as long as extreme slickness does not bother you. It doesn't feel natural, but it sure does feel good!

Astroglide is very easy to pour and is not sticky or greasy, and stays put nicely. On your skin, the lube feels fine - but do NOT get it near your mouth. Apart from the bad taste, for some reason when Astroglide combines with spit, it creates a very waxy feeling on your lips. Astroglide is thick enough to use for anal sex, but if you're considering using it for oral, it's best to leave it off.

"Astroglide" really should be called "Astroslip" - damn, is this stuff slippery. Like, four oiled-up porn stars playing on a Slip-n-Slide filled with Jell-O slippery. The lube somehow manages to be thick and slippery at the same time, without being greasy. So, again, if you don't mind the extra slickness, Astroglide is very lovely in its texture. Just remember to watch the mouth!

The aroma of Astroglide isn't unpleasant at all. It smells like a standard, water-based lube: very clean-smelling and no special scents. The scent of Astroglide is quite appealing to me, but I think it is probably because it reminds me of my boyfriend...

At any rate, while the scent isn't bad, Astroglide's taste is slightly unpleasant. It tastes bitter and plastic-y. However, worse than the taste, as I've mentioned, is the texture when it gets on your lips and mouth. I can't stress this enough: don't use Astroglide for oral!

To use Astroglide as it is intended, a "medium" amount is required - you don't have to drown yourself in the lube, but a few drops won't suffice either. The best way to decide how much of this lube to use is simply to experiment with different amounts.

Depending on the activity, you may need to reapply Astroglide periodically. The good news is that if you apply a bit too much lube, it is not difficult to clean up (simply use water and perhaps a bit of soap for objects - on skin, just use water and scrub a bit) and does not leave a lot of residue.

My favorite thing about Astroglide by far is the sheer amount of slipperiness it provides. This, coupled with the thickness of the lube, makes it a truly enjoyable experience - and this is coming from a girl who is not a huge fan of bottled lubrication!

As I've mentioned numerous times, my least favorite thing about Astroglide is that nasty texture it leaves on your mouth - yuck!

Astroglide does not have any special properties - no prolonging formula, no extra sensitivity, no warming/tingling, etc.

Let me preface this by saying I am just not a fan of anal.

Seriously, every time my poor boyfriend tries to do anal with me, I submit like a good little Doll... at first. As soon as he enters me, I just have this overwhelming urge to go to the bathroom.
