Yummy Yummy!!!

This flavored lubricant is my favorite!! It lasts a long time, smells and tastes great, and isn't sticky at all. Clean up is a breeze...lick it off!! The only negative is the possible allergy concerns for some people but as long as you keep this away from the girly parts...you should be fine.

Use

The System Jo H2O flavored lubricant is awesome! I can't say enough about it. This lubricant is best used for foreplay and oral sex. I wouldn't use this for sexual intercourse because of the parabens and glycerin content but for anything else, its great! Although I am more concerned with the parabens than the glycerin since the glycerin content is such a small amount, there should be no reactions to the glycerin itself. This would be great for anyone looking for a flavored lubricant to spice up their sexual encounters.

Here is the ingredient list for those of you with allergy concerns:
Propyl paraben, Methyl paraben, Sodium Carboxy, Methyl Cellulose, Glycerin, Purified water, Natural and artificial Strawberry flavor

Parabens have been linked to vaginal infections, and since they are the first ingredient, I would keep this away from the vagina. Some people have no sensitivities to it, so of course those people wouldn't have to worry. I'm not concerned about the glycerin content since it is such a small amount but just be aware of it, especially those of you with known allergies to it.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The texture of this lubricant is slightly thicker and will stay in place...but not for long. It will eventually drip when left in one spot. It is clear in color and is non staining. It is very very slippery, not tacky at all, feels silky, smooth, and will maintain its slickness for a while. Its slickness actually reminds me of a silicone lube...it really is great. It is very easy to pour and doesn't come out of the bottle too quickly. So you'll never have to worry about pouring out too much. After use, it doesn't leave any greasy or sticky film either...my skin actually feels soft after using this. There is no need to shower afterwards.

Taste / Aroma

The System Jo flavored lubricants come in a wide variety of flavors, I got the Strawberry Kiss and it tastes AMAZING! The taste reminds me of the strawberry hershey's syrup. It leaves no aftertaste at all and is very addicting. I love the taste of this so much that when I need my fix I put some on my hand and just lick it off. Yes, very addicting, but WONDERFUL!

The smell of this is very light and you can only smell it if you put your nose right up to the bottle. The smell is not artificial at all, its actually very similar to the smell of fresh strawberries.

Performance

The System Jo H2O flavored lubricant performs extremely well. It lasts a long time and actually reminds me of how a silicone lubricant feels, and its water based!! It is very slick and never gets sticky, tacky or greasy. This can be wiped off with a wipe if needed...or you can lick it off which is what I prefer to do. No shower is needed at all because it doesn't leave an unpleasant residue or stickiness on your skin. My skin actually felt very soft and velvety after using this, definitely not what I expected. I was expecting a sticky slimy feeling...but instead I got a very smooth and soft feeling. That was a very pleasant surprise! Overall, I love the light smell, the taste, the feeling, the consistency, and the slickness of this lube. It is awesome in every way.

Packaging

This lubricant comes in a plastic bottle that holds 5.25 ounces. It has a handy flip top that you just have to press the red button to open...very awesome. The lubricant pours out of the top. It wouldn't be great for travel because it could open easily but my solution to that is...a zip lock bag!!! If it opens you won't have to worry about all your belongings getting all lubed up!! The bottle is easy to hold, easy to open, and very discreet looking. Nothing about it screams sex, and the words "Flavored water based lubricant" are very small and not easily seen. I love the packaging on this lube...this alone is a selling point for me.

Follow-up commentary
This is still my favorite flavored lubricant. It has lasted a while and I still have more than half the bottle. A little goes a long way with this stuff.

@ ~LaUr3n~ Yes! If you like strawberries you'll LOVE this. I actually just got the chocolate yesterday and it is AMAZINGLY tasty. I didn't expect that one to be good. If System JO can make a chocolate lube that is FANTASTIC, I doubt any of the flavors are bad.

  • How do you feel about glycerin/parabens in this lube?
    • Would you try it anyway without any concerns or do you feel a little hesitant to try this?

    • I don't know about the accuracy of the information, but it jives with everything else I've heard. As for that lube, yes. I have tried it and didn't hesitate to do so. I don't really pay much attention to the ingredients, other than to see if there's something that my body might react with. Up to this point, I haven't personally had a problem with glycerin or parabens causing any reaction in my body anywhere, so I'll continue to buy lube that happens to have those ingredients in them. I prefer things without parabens because of all the cancer related talk, but I won't throw it out if it shows up and has that in it. Might not re-purchase, but will at least use.
    • I use that lube all the time, as well as others that contain glycerine and parabens. I have never had any reactions from those ingredients.

    • I really like this lube, I find it lasts a long long time. The only thing I am not keen on is- well two things. It is very sweet, and the scent lasts and lasts and lasts.
