Curvy Delight

The Delight by Fun Factory is a unique shaped rechargeable vibrator offering up stimulation to both the G-spot and the clitoris. The sexy curves on this toy may provide excellent G-spot stimulation for some users, it definitely is fun to use! While this is the 2.0 version of a classic, next time Fun Factory could make it even better by making it waterproof instead of just splash proof.

The Delight by Fun Factory is part of the Click 'N' Charge line of rechargeable toys. The Delight is designed to be a dual stimulator offering up vibrations for both the G-spot and clitoris. Boosting a sexy, unique, curved shape, users will get G-spot stimulation from the curved insertable portion of the Delight, while getting external stimulation from the rest of the toy. The curvy shape of the Delight makes it a bit awkward for stimulation of other erogenous zones on the body, this toy was built for vaginal insertion. However if you wanted to use it anally, the curve of the shaft and hook at the end should be sufficient to keep the toy from being lost in the rectum. No embarrassing trips to the ER with the Delight.

Fun Factory has offered up the Delight in a variety of different fun colors to appeal to a wide range of users. It also makes a great options for users of all experience levels, beginners will not be intimidated by its size and more advanced users should be pleased to add such a unique and fun piece to their toy collection. As with all dual stimulators there is a chance that this will not work well for everyone's anatomy, but I am glad I decided to take a chance on this one.

Material / Texture

The Delight is made from silicone and plastic. Silicone rates a 10 on the Eden Fantasys' safety scale, plastic rates an 8 on the scale. Both are hypo-allergenic, latex free, non-porous, and phthalates free. For the most part the insertable part of the Delight is silicone which is somewhat flexible, there is some plastic and silicone on the handle portion and the part that comes in contact with the clitoris, this part of the toy is ridged and not flexible. The silicone is matte in texture and does have a noticeable amount of drag to it, while the plastic is sleek and smooth. The silicone will attract lint and dust, as is typical for this material. I did not notice any odor upon receiving the Delight, in my opinion Fun Factory has really crafted this one from quality materials.

For the most part there is no texture to the Delight, however there is a crack between the two materials where they meet on the toy. I did not find this to be uncomfortable, I barely noticed it, but it will require extra diligence in cleaning.

There is also a nub in the silicone on the toy at the base of the insertable portion, this is for stimulation of the clitoris or vaginal opening depending on your anatomy.

Design / Shape / Size

The Delight is a unique shaped toy, it almost has an 's' shape to it. I love the shape of this toy, it is whimsical and may not look like a sex toy at a glance. I have been trying to find a non-rabbit looking dual stimulator. Meant to be used for dual stimulation of both the G-spot and the clitoris, the Delight is about 6 inches long (11 inches if you follow the curves of the toy) the insertable portion of the Delight is 4 inches long. The insertable part, meant for G-spot stimulation, has a blunt head that is 4.25 inches in circumference and has a diameter of 1.25 inches. The Delight narrows slightly before it curves up into the clitoral stimulator and widens again. At the base of the insertable portion there is a raised nub used for clitoral stimulation or vaginal opening stimulation. For me the nub stimulated my vaginal opening more then my clit. The handle of the Delight tapers off and curves leaving a hook that provides to be a great handle for holding onto and manipulating the Delight. At the top of the Delight is were you will find the controls for the toy.

As with any dual stimulator, whether or not this toy will work for you will be anatomy dependent, it will not fit everyone. I also find that the insertable portion is a little too short for me as it does not reach my G-spot well, at only 4 inches for insertion if you have a deeper G-spot it may not work well for you. I do find that I get good clitoral stimulation with the Delight when inserted. Whether or not you can get clitoral stimulation with a particular toy seems to be the biggest issue with dual stimulator or rabbit style toys, as not everyone's clit is going to be located in the same place. We are all different shaped and what works for some may not for others.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The Delight is a rechargeable vibrator, it charges using Fun Factory's Click 'N' Charge magnetic charger. I originally thought that the idea behind magnetic chargers was that there would be no ports that the charger would have to plug into the toy for waterproof capabilities, but that is not the case with the Delight, it is NOT waterproof, but only splash proof. The charger clicks into place on the back of the toy, the words 'Fun Factory' will illuminate in red when charging, when they turn off your Delight should be fully charged and ready to go assuming the light didn't just turn off because the magnetic connection was compromised. It can be a bit of a pain to prop up the Delight in such as way as to maintain a connection with the charger during charging, this seems to be a common complaint with the Click 'N' Charge line from Fun Factory. Fun Factory suggest leaving the Delight to charge for 6 hours when you first charge it up. My Delight happened to already have a charge on it when it arrived, so I was able to use it right away. A full charge should get you about an hour of play time depending on the settings you use.

The Delight has 8 levels of steady vibration that increase in power level from low to high, and then three different patterned vibrations. To turn the Delight on you hold down the plus button located at the top of the toy, it will turn on and a red light will be illuminated. You can either press down on the plus button each time to increase the intensity of the vibrations, or hold it all the way down to amp it all the way up. Once you are at the highest setting of constant vibration, holding down on the plus button will turn on the patterns. To switch between different patterns continue to press on the plus button. There are three patterned vibrations. To go back to the steady vibrations you must press the minus button. Pressing the minus button will step down the intensity of the vibrations, holding it all the way down will take the toy all they way back to the lowest setting. Once on the lowest setting pressing on the minus button will power the Delight off.
power buttons

Overall the Delight is fairly powerful, on the highest setting I would rate it 4 vrooms. It also remains quiet, you could safely use the Delight behind a closed door and no one would be able to hear it on the other side. I do find that the Delight can make a staticy noise during use when lube or other liquids slip up in the crack between the silicone and plastic. It is not very loud, but it can be distracting and annoying to hear static coming from your nether region when trying to get off.

Care and Maintenance

The Delight is made from both plastic and silicone, both of which are non-porous. To clean the Delight you can use warm water and anti-baterial soap or your favorite toy cleaner. Just be careful not to fully submerge the Delight in water as it is not waterproof, only splash proof. If you wish to disinfect the Delight you can do so by using a 10% bleach solution to wipe down the toy. The spaces where the silicone and plastic meet on the toy require a little extra diligence when cleaning, especially if you are considering sharing this toy with another person. Where the two materials come together there is a bit of a crack that is formed, lube and other liquids can get pushed into this crack and hide out, and while silicone and plastic are non-porous the space between the two can become a hide out for microbes if not properly cleaned.

Also since the delight is made from silicone, you should only use water based lube to play with this one, as silicone based lubes could ruin the surface of the toy. Silicone should not be stored with other materials such as jelly and TPR as these could melt onto the Delight and damage the toy.

Packaging

The Delight and the charger came packaged in two separate boxes, both were Fun Factory's standard brown and red boxes. The box that contained the Delight had a window in the front of it that you could see the toy through, it had a magnetic flap that opened up to panels with information on the toy and larger window to see the Delight through. The back of the box just had a large picture of a hand holding the Delight. In the box with the Delight was a manual in multiple languages and a sample pack of Fun Factory's water-based lube Toy Fluid. The box that contained the Click 'N' Charge charger had a picture of the magnetic charger head on one side and a pictures of different Fun Factory toys on the other. This packaging is not discreet, but I really like the look of Fun Factory's packaging, I think overall it would make a good gift option if the gift getter and the setting were appropriate. It does not feature any tacky pictures of half naked models or anything of that sort. Personally I like to hold on to the package to store the toy in between uses, but for those who don't like to keep it you can always throw it in the recycling bin.

Personal comments

I have been trying to find a dual stimulating vibrator, that is not the classic rabbit shape, that will fit my anatomy. I tried the Opus by Close2You before I tried the Delight. I was much more pleased with the Delight as it fit my anatomy better than the Opus and I was able to get dual stimulation of both the G-spot and clitoris when using the Delight, which I was unable to obtain with the Opus.
delight vs opus

Experience

While the Delight worked much better than the Opus it still was not perfect, I have found that my G-spot is located a litter deeper in and the Delight is just not long enough to get good stimulation without rocking it back and forth. It does still take a bit of work to get really good G-spot stimulation with the Delight, but I am pleased that I still get constant clitoral vibrations when rocking the Delight to hit my G-spot. When rocking the Delight back and forth I get clitoral stimulation from the nub and the shaft of the toy depending on how far the Delight is inserted. All in all the Delight is still an amazing toy that I will use much more frequently than my Opus, I do find it quite delightful!
