Touch is a small, ergonomic vibrator that is ideal for clitoral stimulation, whether you are going solo or using it with a partner. Its petite size enables you to use it as a palm massager for all over massage but the design is best for clitoral or nipple stimulation. Because it's waterproof, you can also take it in the shower or spa for a relaxing moment and its size make it extra portable. You could even keep it in your purse if you wanted! Of course, We Vibe Touch doesn't require a special time or place, it performs just as well late at night, in bed.

The exterior of the We Vibe Touch is coated in silicone, which has no odor and is completely non-porous so that bacteria cannot seep into the material. Toward the tip, the silicone is more pliable while the silicone coats a harder, interior mechanism. Thus the base is quite firm. Still, the silicone is thicker and more pliable around this device. The finish of this silicone is shiny and smooth, not matte and velvety. It drags across the skin and has a tendency to pick up lint. There control button, on the end, consists of silicone, surrounded by a plastic ring.

The We Vibe Touch is designed so that the tip curves slightly downward. The Touch curves out, back in, and out along the sides but I suspect this is intended to make it easier to hold than for actual stimulation. Along the side that touches your body, there is a dimple, like a spoon. This works well to cup the pubic bone and surround the clitoris. The specific angle of the curving on the Touch fits my body than any other ergonomic clitoral vibrator I'd tried. I found that the slight pointing toward the end of the Touch helped to penetrate my labia to better access my clitoris. However, I prefer more direct pressure while this vibrator simply surrounds the clitoral area.

At less than 4" long, the Touch fits in the palm of even my small hands, making it feasible for body massage. At its widest, it is only about 1.5" long and it measures approximately 1" tall at the base. This small design actually fit into my panties; although, it's not ideal for wearing out and about. However, the toy tapers (in height) toward the tip so that it can easily fit between your body and your partner's. Combined with the specific shape of the curve, at the tip, the Touch is quite simply the best designed toy for partner play that I've had the chance to try.

The Touch doesn't necessarily look like a sex toy and this can be appealing to sex toy beginners or apprehensive partners, especially if you ease it into your sex life as a massager.

This vibrator is extremely easy to use. There is a single button along the base with a slightly raised center that makes it easy to find by touch alone. Pressing the button once turns it on and the button lights up to further aid you. As you press the button, the We Vibe Touch cycles through a low, medium and high steady vibration and then through several modes of pulsation and one escalation mode. When you reach the end of the cycles, the toy turns off with a final press. However, you can also turn off the toy by pressing the button for 2 seconds and, when you turn it on once more, it remains at the same setting. This is great if you want to reach for the toy and quickly turn it to your favorite setting.

The reason I requested the Touch by We Vibe is that I've already used several of their products and I am simply in love with their vibration style. The Touch is no exception. The vibrations are deep and run slower than other toys. Sometimes, it almost feels like an individual pitter-patter than the high frequency vibrators of watch battery bullets. While using the We Vibe Touch, the vibrations resonated throughout my body and, after I was done, my flesh tingled. This specific sort of vibrations makes the pulsations and escalations feel more unique than other toys. I usually default to the escalation, a setting that I never use on other toys, because its so effective.

Unfortunately, these vibrations are not as strong as they are deep. If you truly require a powerhouse, you may find Touch to be too weak. It's no electric wand. Still, they're ridiculously strong for the size of this toy; I can't ever start with the highest steady setting (although, I usually move to this setting after some prep) and We Vibe puts any Lelo toy to shame. Period. No other ergonomic, petite, rechargeable or clitoral vibrator offer vibrations that I enjoy as much.

If there is any room for improvement, it is that We Vibe Touch could be a bit quieter. It's not so noticeably loud that you couldn't use it while your roommates are home. No one hear it over the sound of the shower or even some white noise. However, it's really not whisper quiet like the description claims.

One of the unique features of We Vibe's new toys is the charging mechanism. There are two magnetic points on the button to which you attach a small, half sphere of plastic. It is into the sphere that you plug the charging cord. There is a small light on the sphere that indicates charging status. The manual states that you should charge 90 minutes before use but sometimes the magnets are a little finicky so you need to make sure they align correctly and stay in place.

While I enjoy that you can swap chargers and the sphere among the new toys, I'd prefer if there weren't so many pieces and the adapter simply connected to the sphere in one piece. As it is, I've actually lost the sphere to my We Vibe Tango (they're "excellent" cat toys) so I have to use the one from the Touch.

As there are no openings, I have no fear about using this toy in the shower or tub and washing it is ridiculously easy.

You can easily wash the We Vibe Touch with soap and water. Be careful to dry with a lint-free cloth if you're worried about that and pop it into its storage bag right away. We Vibe has changed their storage bag to a stiffer and larger option with this line of toys. I find that the drawstring becomes a little more difficult to move but I like that I can fit both the charger and toy in the bag at once.

Because it is made of non-porous silicone, you could wipe it down with a 10% bleach solution for more effective sterilization but there are some crevices around the button area that may never fully be sterilized.

Because it is silicone, you will only want to use water-based lubrication with the Touch.

We Vibe uses really sleek packaging. The box for the touch is narrower at the front than the bottom (when standing it on end), giving it a trapezoid shape from the front top and bottom. I'm not quite sold on the design, however, because you have to lift up the bulk of the box to open the package and the little tab that you're supposed to hold while doing this isn't very sturdy. I ripped my Tango's box because of this. However, when you finally lift it, and if everything stays in place, you see the sphere next to the toy, with the manual positioned above it. The pouch and charger are concealed in a box at the "top" of the package.

While unique and presentable--perhaps enough for gifting--the box is just too bulky for storage and you don't really need it, with the pouch.

While I enjoy the attention to detail in terms of the charging set up and packaging, I feel that a little "less is more" might work better. As I mentioned, the charging sphere is easy to lose and the packaging can be a little difficult to open and may fall out of place during opening (thus ruining presentation). We Vibe makes great toys and doesn't really need to try to win us over with these extras, in my opinion.

Ultimately, while I enjoyed the vibrations and shape of the Touch, it wasn't a good solo toy for me. It seems like it would be better for enhancing the mood during partner play than for achieving orgasm alone. While it eventually got me there, it took more time than I ever need and did become a little frustrating.
