I would say 17/18 is more than fine, there are no serious risks in viewing porn unlike smoking and drinking which all have age limits. I'd rather our teens use porn as their outlet for sex than be irresponsible. It's a great way for them to explore their sexuality

I don't think there's a need to lower the age.

I think if the age were younger, kids wouldn't be stupid enough to go out and get each other pregnant

I think it should be when you're considered as a legal adult. 18

I almost don't feel like it matters, most teens who want to see it will be able to anyway since all you have to do is click "yes, I am 18" on the websites

This. It's so easy to get porn on the internet these days.

18 is good but with it being so easy to get it is pointless.

The legal age that you can have consensual sex in most countries, including my own, is 16, so it makes sense to link the age that you can legally view/buy porn to that.

It's silly to have a situation where people can go out and have sex and watch themselves in the act, but then say that it's wrong for them to see someone else doing it on film or in print.

In practical terms it doesn't matter as no one actually bothers to buy porn any more, and you can get everything for free online with no substantive checks to confirm age.

I'm Ok with 18, but 17 would be fine too.

I highly doubt kids in that age range buy porn. It's kind of a mute point, right? Especially since they start watching really young these days, but for the sake of answering I'll go with 18.

I don't think there is a problem with the age of 18 being the limit but I could see the age limit being lowered to 16 since it is the age of consent in most places.

I think 18 is fine, otherwise, I think it will just get younger and younger.

To me, the age at which you can buy porn should coincide with the legal age of consent (for sex). If you're old enough to fuck, you should be able to watch people fuck.

The legal age to consent is 18. If consent is legal then, why shouldn't porn be viewable too.

I say 16 should be the age because by the time we are 16, we know a lot about our sexual preferences. 16 is the legal age of consent in most places. So, I don't see why you can consent, but you can't buy or watch adult material. It doesn't make sense.

I have to agree with others. As if having to click "yes, I am 18" is going to make a difference. All you have to do is type in the word Pink in google. Even with the "safe" search on, you can see girls in their panties, bras, and topless. So, it's not hard to find nudity that would classify as porn.

I'd say around 16. But like others have said, anyone with an internet connection (and the ability to fib about their age) can get porn for free, so there's nothing really stopping someone below the legal age from doing just that.

18 should be the legal age (which is what it currently is where I live.) If someone younger wants to watch porn it's not like it's hard to find...

I don't really think age would be such the issue because kids get exposed to it at all ages, no mattter what the legal age to buy is. People aren't careful enough to keep others from accidentally being exposed to their collections of pornography.

So in my opinion, any age limit will not matter. But personally, I think the age limit should be 21. If you're still a teenager, you're GOING to be curious as to what sex is like, what people look like naked. So being able to attain it at ages like 16 would only increase the possibilities of kids getting addicted to it, and addiction to pornography can devastate a person no matter the age, but I feel like the younger people should be more protected against the harms.
