I love rigging. I'm most comfortable with groundwork and partial suspensions, and I'm still working on technique with full suspensions. It's all great fun. ( :

I've done it and loved it. I have two books on it and I'm incorporating one of my fave ties on a ring I ordered. I fear the ring might be a bit big, so I'm taking a thin piece of rope or leather and making the rope corset pattern on it in order to make it fit.
The only negative is it's time consuming. Sometimes I'm not in the mood for it, or if I'm only a bit in the mood the long process can be annoying. I did give my boyfriend some tips on what to do to me while he's tying me up, so as not to make it so mundane.

I'll admit, we're not really the meditative type, so the tying up process is more a necessary chore than anything. We've setup the computer some times to display her ebooks. So she can still read them (with a wireless mouse in her hand). Not to mention they can help get her in the mood as well.

I find it fascinating. Of course, I rather liked learning macrame when I was younger, so I like knots in general. I know I wouldn't be comfortable being tied up, but who knows, maybe someday I'll try tying my husband up... after I've learned how to do so safely.

For everyone who wants to try it, there's an awesome book called Two Knotty Boys Showing You the Ropes here on EF. I made sure to pick it up. Grab that and some of the Japanese Bondage Rope. That's all you really need!

I've only done a few self tied body harnesses and we've tried The Two Knotty Boys Basic Wrap and Dragonfly Sleeve. We haven't had a lot of time to try out others but I'm hoping to learn more eventually.
