I'm careful to choose collars that are easily worn in public. And honestly unless you are wearing a big leather band around your neck, most things can be played off as jewelry. I had a length of chain links with a heart shaped padlock for some time and I can't tell you how many vanilla people told me how they loved it.

We're more of a 'what happens in the bedroom, stays in the bedroom' kind of couple. But with that being said, we're not turned away from the idea of public (albeit hidden) bondage.

I can think of at least 3 situations in which I might have done this. One, if I was involved with a dominant who was into public domination and/or humiliation. Two, if I was involved with a dominant who enjoyed going to BDSM gatherings where collars are normal sub attire. Or three, when visiting a "kinkier" city, where such things are more accepted. I really don't know, but I think Berlin, and possibly Amsterdam might qualify. I find it an exciting fantasy to be involved with someone who'd want to dominate me publicly.

I'm use to wearing collars in public. My dom thinks its cute that I whine and whimper when he goes to undo it, and while undoing it hes started to promise that its only momentary. The only time my collar is taken off is when he does it and thats only so he can get better access to my neck whether kissing or wrapping his fingers around it

I've done it. Worn it to the grocery store and the movies and such. I don't think I'd wear it somewhere where someone who knows me might see me though. Luckily it was when I was visiting him out west, and nobody knows me anywhere there. I would love an inconspicuous collar that I could wear out all the time though.
