Usually the only thing attached to mine is a small padlock.

Sometimes I'll just wear it by itself, or if it has a place to hook a leash up to, I'll wear a leash and hubby holds the other end

I don't really attach it to anything, unless He attaches a rope to it during bondage, which doesn't happen very often. We don't own a leash, but maybe one day that will change.
