The silk rope kit is nice, but it's not silk and the rope sections are too short to do much with, the japanese silk rope is a good beginner choice, decent length and soft enough to be comfortable, also not silk tho.....the japanese bondage rope would also be a good choice for your next step it is sturdier than the other 2 but not as brightly colored as the others........ I've not tried the elite bondage rope personally, the material makes me nervous tho especially for someone kind of new to bondage

I reviewed both Japanese ropes, they would both be okay for beginnners, but I believe Fetish Fantasys' is softer.

I went for the beginner's silk rope kit first. Absolutely loved it, but it was way too short for me to do anything with!

Japanese bondage rope is the best deal. It's around $12 for 35 ft of rope and it feels nice and cottony too.

My honest opinion? I wouldn't get any of them.
There is better rope out there.
I say this as some one who was a pro-domme for 6 years, and as staff of one of the largest rope bondage events in the world.
