Welcome to the Birthday Club’s third year, first post! Once a month is a forum announcement to celebrate the birthdays of our favorite Eden contributors! So wish everyone a happy birthday and let the celebration begin! Thanks to the generosity of the EdenFantasys Staff, every contributor who participates in the birthday club will receive 2500 points for their birthday month! This year, we’re doing something different. We’ve touched on the Greek-based zodiac two years in a row already so I’ve decided to switch it up! This time, the ‘sign’ mentioned may not be yours since they are done in sets of years, but there are 12 of them! Perfect! Oh and not only that, but there are sub-sets of these signs based on element! Are you excited yet? Get ready, set, LEARN!
Sign – Rat
In the legend that Buddha had animals race against each other for the honor of appearing as a sign in their zodiac cycle, the rat was the first to cross the finish line. It wasn’t that this little creature was the fastest by any means, but it used its brain instead of its brawn and rode on the back of another animal to skip to the head of line. Thus this animal earned the spot of the first sign of the Chinese zodiac cycle. It symbolizes wit, imagination, and curiosity. Rats have keen observation skills, loads of energy, are talkative and charming, and prone to aggression. They tend to give excellent advice but won’t share they own troubles with others.
Rats are most compatible with the Dragon and Monkey and are incompatible with the Horse and Rabbit.
