Those meetings are just so crazy, plus, I am not interested in much porn, so I've yet to go to one.

I think I've been to the last three now. They've really been great. The guests have made it really fun and interesting.

I think there is a lot of potential for directions in this club. I recommend switching things up to keep it fresh. (like not setting up to rigid of a format). That is just my 2 cents

I have been to three. What a great time, but I must say Eddie, from the last two, really sticks out in my mind. He is so open to new ideas and so forthcoming with the behind the scenes info.

Watching porn mOvies really is not my thing, so I have not been to any.

I love the guests and how honest they have been answering most of the questions we pepper them with. It can't be helped, but I don't like how conversations lag. Some people respond to items pages behind. I assume this is related to internet connections. The discussion gets a little disjointed, but that's just a minor complaint.

I also like having more than one guest, but I'm not sure having two at the same time works well either. It basically causes two separate conversations to go on at the same time.

Well, first of all, the guests are always so open and a joy to chat with. I guess I figured they may be stuck up and not really care about what we thought. To find out that they are real people like us was very cool. I had no idea. Hearing about how the movies are made, from the directors and stars is great as well.

"Like the least" How fast it goes. Sure we are used to the fast pace, but I wonder if the guest are just a bit overwhelmed. I don't know how to slow it down though.

I felt a little bad for Seth Gamble because we didn't really ask him many questions when it was time to discuss the Flintstones.

Yeah, I was wondering about the same thing. So far we have just been grateful to whoever is able to attend. Sometimes it will be one guest for the whole night, sometimes one per movie. I do think we got extremely fortunate with New Sensation lining up so many guests.

Yeah, that is another point. It's hard to stay on topic, but most of the really good interactions and interesting conversations happen when we are off the rails. I feel like putting the breaks on would make it less fun.

Anyway... for Porn Club, and for all the other clubs, I am just wondering if there are ways that we can stimulate the discussion without taking anything away from them. It would be awesome if you guys thought about your experiences and had any suggestions!

I haven't been to too many Porn Club meetings, but it does seem like we get a better chance to get to know the guests better when we start getting a little off topic and they open up.

Seems like Eddie would be happy to offer his opinion. Maybe a quick email to him would be helpful? I would say we are all game, I just would like to make sure that the guest are happy as well.

Honestly, I'm not sure I would change much with the Porn Club discussions. They are loads of fun, we get a good turnout, and we learn a lot.

That's a good point, maybe poll our guests afterwards as to what they might change, what they liked, what they didn't like, etc.

I know when I am hosting Eden photovraphers it is all I can do to keep up with the discussion. I don't think the meetings need improved from that respect.
