Greek Yogurt appeared on the market a few years ago and has since taken grocery storms by force. It now is sold by a variety of distributors in a multitude of flavors. What are your opinions of it?

Also, leave a comment if you've cooked with it. I'd love to hear your ideas!

I've tried it... I haven't decided whether or not I like it yet. The brand I've tried is a bit bitter but it's edible.

EVERYONE I work with LOVES the stuff. I am SO behind the power curve..have not tried any yet. I am kind of hesitant to try some foods. Not sure why.

I like the honey one I've tried, and how thick it is.

i tried the one with blueberries and it was alright. Nothing special. but the vanilla one tasted like gritty puke... and the after taste matured into something indescribable....

I prefer it. It's thicker and less sweet and also doesn't tend to contain gelatin (which I can't eat).

I love greek yogurt - it's definitely superior to the average fare, as I like my yogurt very thick and creamy, and the flavours tend to be more appealing to me anyway (honey, fig, pomegranate? yes please!).

I like all yogurt, except the fruit in the bottom ones, I don't like chunks of fruit in it.

I love Greek yogurt, I do not love the bastardization of it the supermarket mega-brands are now selling.

I love it and actually look for it. Sometimes difficult to find the brand I prefer, Chobani, expensive but so worth it!

Yogurt is a must for me anytime I take an antibiotic, it restores the natural flora in my vagina. UTI's are such a pain!

I vastly prefer it to other yogurts. They seem watery and strange to me now, actually.

I definitely like it but I'm not necessarily that preferential when it comes to greek vs. regular yogurt. Either/both are good.

I love love LOVE Greek yogurt! Before I found out I was lactose intolerant, I'd always buy plain and mix it into my oatmeal in the morning, sweeten it with some agave or honey and fruit as a snack, and use it as a substitute for sour cream in Mexican dishes. Love it so much Gotta find a way to get it back into my diet..

I love it plain and then I add my own berries to it.

I love Greek yogurt and prefer it over "regular" yogurt. I get it plain, and mix in a spoonful of honey to eat. Sometimes fresh fruit as well. Wonderful stuff.

we use it to make a protein smoothie..take a cup of unflavored yogurt, 1 cup skim milk, 2 packets sugar substitute, a few ice cubes, and 1 packet of the drop in flavors for water and blenderize it all together. Yummy!!! and good for you!!

It's okay, but I really prefer cream on the top fruit on the bottom traditional yogurt. So good~

I find it a little overrated. Maybe I need to get used to the taste, though.
