I think EF does most of the resizing automatically, but I usually resize to 640 x 426.

For my reviews it's usually 320x240 I think. Otherwise a nice "medium" usually works, depending on what size options you have.

If you scan them into photobucket or something like that just click medium. Though i've noticed posting pics here they automatically get resized down to fit the talk bubble.
I do that for reviews but for photos like for this I dont. But I cant remember what size I put them too, Im having a brain fart day

Ours too. Not only were they covered with carpet, but they never protected the floor when they sprayed texture on the walls, so not only did I have to sand off the old polyurethane, but also the spray texture. That was a chore I'll never repeat.

Ok im ready to go. My photos might be alittle off color today because I dont want to mess with the scanner. Not off color but lackluster I suppose is the better word. We got a new one and it dulls down the color of photos.

OK. I just poured myself a high-alcohol winter ale and I'll be drinking it on an empty stomach.

This should be a fun meeting.

I missed the last one because I was on vacation. Which was a first, who claimed my victorious streak of gc of the month?

Heh, yeah, that doesn't sound fun. I'm hoping when we move we won't have to do that at a new place. Although a mishap with a bottle of nail polish this weekend guaranteed that we have to refinish the floors in my bedroom before my mom sells the house. Have you ever broken a bottle of nail polish before? I hadn't before Saturday, lol.

I'm all full of cream flavored Ceylon tea, and only adding more! on top of some nice potato&cheese pirogi though.

Holy shit! I thought they were more durable than falling on a wood floor. That is crazy.

Mmmm.....pierogi.

I just got a pasta maker, so I've been planning on making some of those. I've stuck to raviolis so far, but it's not like they're much different in prep.

Jeesh, this makes me even more grateful I'm unkempt and unladylike and don't mess around with makeup! I can't imagine how many sandpaper squares I would have wasted on random spills by now!

So did I! I've dropped so many bottles of nail polish before on wooden floors. My guess was defective bottle or hit just the right angle.

Welcome to the 11th meeting of the Eden Photographers Club! I hope everyone had a good month of thinking about photography and looking at the world through a photographer’s eyes. I want to thank all of you who are here tonight. Winter is upon us, and for many of us, the first real snows of the season are upon us. This is a wonderful time to get out there and photograph winter's splendor.

This meeting will focus cropping. Cropping is very much like composition that takes into effect framing and the rule of thirds, but it is done after the photo is taken. In some respects, this is a very straight-forward procedure, but in other respects it requires a bit more thought.

Before we get started, is there anything anybody wanted to bring up about photography or the club? And if anyone was planning on asking about the calendar, I regrettably have nothing to tell you; I simply don't have any idea what's going on.

I thought about trying to get it up with nail polish remover but I didn't want to remove the polish on my own fingers, or accidentally take off the stain on the floor. Since she wanted to refinish the floors anyway I opted to just mop it up as best as I could.

Oh cool! I don't have a pasta maker. These are just hand-rolled. I actually make them in enormous batches and freeze them so they're a lazy-day meal. But the prep is really not so bad, just put on some balalaika tunes and fold'em up!

I had an update on the calendar not too long ago that it was in printing, but I'll check again. I wish I had better news

That's what I'm used to doing (both the hand-rolling and huge batches). I just figure the pasta maker will make things easier (more uniform, anyway.).
