Assignment List for September / October 2011 Writers Club

This Month we are tackling some interesting topics! It's going to be October so our first theme shouldn't surprise anyone. The second is a bit more personal and as always we offer an open topic for our creative writers who have something to say off topic!If you are interested in writing for the club simply mail your work as an attachment to (Rayne at edenfantasys dot com) with the subject line being Eden Lit Submissions. Our deadline for submissions is September 26th, 2011 and we have a limit of three submissions per author per month. If you consent to your work being published on the Eden Lit Blog you will receive a $10 gift card for EdenFantasys per submission up to a total of $30. Now on to the topics of the month:*Spooky, Scary and Utterly erotic!- That's right, you guessed it! All the things that go bump in the night is our October theme. Not, perhaps, totally original but I bet our stories will be!!*Tattoos- How do you feel about body art? Do you love it? Hate it? Secretly lust after it? Do you have a wonderful story to share about your particular body decorations? Did it hurt? All about tattoos is the theme, tell us all about it!*Open Topic- For the love of writing. Tell us what's on your mind, in your heart and firing your undies!We are asking for finished pieces and a maximum of three pieces per author. This is subject to change in the future depending on the popularity of the club. There is no set writing style, the pieces can be anything from poetry to raunchy erotic literature. If your piece needs an introduction please include it with the submission to Rayne. This club is open to everyone, not just writers. The pieces will be published the week before the next meeting of the writer's club, where we hope to see all of you! less

In Eden Lit there is a bit of everything. Check out the previous submissions in our blog. Some of the previous work has had swearing. So far no rules have been imposed regarding language. Pretty much anything goes here. We look forward to seeing your work! Happy writing. less

Tattoo kink fiction will work. Pretty much you are free to write to your hearts content about whatever you fancy.

We do ask that you submit work not previously published elsewhere. There's the whole internet rule about putting the same content in more than one place on the net and it could lead to issues down the road.

You do retain rights to your work. However if you choose to publish the work on your personal blog , search engines will not show duplicate posts which in turn will hurt your blog and Eden Lit's Blog. You can mention your work in your blog and re-direct to Eden Lit.

If it is in regards to a publishing deal, by all means publish away. We worry more about duplicate content in regards to blogging. Eden Lit will not post material that has been posted to a blog for gift-cards. At the very most we will consider a link to your blog.
