i was just posting mine on a local bar's FB page. the winner with the best story wins tickets to their show on new year's eve!


here's my story... 100% true, i assure you! i left out some of the naughtiest details because, well... the post was public.



"new year's 2010 i was at al's bar, dancing the night away. this angry ex-girlfriend of a recent lover disguises herself as a pile of fists falling upon my head as i bust out moves on the dancefloor. thoroughly, optimistically drunken, i assume it's some drunker-than-me-guy falling on me.

then i realize, like a lightbulb coming on, it must be her. i didnt even see her, or any part thereof, till i raised my heel and kicked in the general direction of the fists with all my might. saw a flash of face flying across the room. i myself was flying in the opposite direction. some sweet large gal caught me before my head could bust the bar floor and said, 'it's alright, doll.' or something to the effect.

i found myself invigorated by the adrenaline from the fight, and danced all the merrier, pulling myself up on stage with the band to shake it like a freaking' drunkass polaroid.

later, a dear old gal pal of mine and i went to the bathroom to freshen up. we ended up entangled in eachother's girlish bits in the bathroom stall - a trashy first for me, yet sexy as it was tacky.

she finished the romp with some quote about how she loved dick, and left the bar with a boyfriend. i ended up roaming the streets, cellphoneless and homeless (i was visiting from out of the country) and found my way into the old reynold's building, uk's art studio. i slept on a couch, and woke hungover and feeling quite self-sufficient, if not a bit bitter on new year's day." less
