We only use butter here too.

Yeah - my guy agreed to go out to eat - just has to water the bunnies first while I get dressed. So nice - supper out with my man! ALONE!

I was raised on margarine as well but I still like it. Butter tastes weird to me unless it's in baked goods!

My grandmother had an interesting trick with butter - she'd freeze it to keep it fresh, then use a vegetable grater to grate however much she needed. This would make the butter soften much faster.

Awww. My great grandmothers were all four excellent cooks, but my two regular grandmothers didn't cook much. Mom and I sure do, though.
