I like them both for different reasons.

That's what I'm wondering. I'm an early August Leo girl. Maybe that explains my inability to relate to submission. Hah!

Im a late august Virgo... Something I read once was that virgos tend to be what others want them to be..
So maybe submission will be easier than I expect LOL

Damnit. I have no doctor, and there is no walk in clinic in town.

Alright, for those of you who are still left... I am curious...

What format appeals to you more: the full length erotic novel or the super short 60 second erotica format..and of course, explain why.

Short stories. They're hotter! You have to cram more action into a shorter story, less background, more sex. Plus, if you don't like one, you can move on to the next quickly.

I definitely loved the full length novel more. I do like the shorter erotica at times, but when I read I really relish being able to sink way into the story, and there really isn't time for that in 3 pages.

The full-length by *far*. I wish Cleis Press had more of them. (And EF sold more of them.) It's most sexy when I know the character's personalities and spend the book with sexual tension.

Rest, plenty of water, Vitamin C and Zinc, try Emergen-C, it's got good stuff in it. And I swear by NyQuil D because it knocks me out and lets me sleep when I've got a serious sinus infection. But you have to get it from behind the counter at the pharmacy-at least you do in Kansas, in case you plan to use it to cook meth.

If it's done well (and I've only read 3), I prefer the full length erotic novel. I think it gives you more character development and substance. I don't like the supershort format particularly - they're ok to read, but not really a turn on. The regular length short stories can be hit or miss, but they're usually long enough to have some characterization and be arousing.

I like the novel, like Carries Story. It gives you more than the 60second one obviously. Theres back story, theres a story line other than just the sex, theres the inner thoughts. Theres a connection there that you can relate to.

And personally -- its how I like sex... Take the time, tease me a bit, get me hot and bothered, and then get to the action. Generally I don't like quickies..

Isn't it awesome that we have Brenda at these meetings... she can go back to Cleis and say "NRBC wants more full length novels!"

I know. I've read a couple that other stores sell, and I like the erotica quality of Cleis Press novels while other "romance" novels aren't really erotica, so they aren't all that interesting to read. I know I loved both Carrie's Story and Safe Word though. I know Cleis Press sells a couple others, but EF doesn't seem to sell them yet. Full-length novels are my guilty pleasure.
