Although I haven't yet read this book, I have read some stories that have opened me up to at least the idea of new things such as pet kink.

Neil Gaiman is the poster boy for great contemporary literature. Great book, hope the planned tv series doesn't ruin it.

The Amish do seem to handle reproduction perfectly well, so I can see that there might be some erotica possibilities there. Subtle and nuanced, but still hot for the reader.

Yeah may be something to look into. I can imagine that if you are kept from some things wanting them more and that aspect making it sexy, but Im not sure how I feel about the religous aspect of it. I guess if they had some super hot wedding nights it may be a good read....hmmmm...now my mind is wandering...

I didn't know they were planning a tv series---I think I'm just going to stick my head in the sand for that one.

One of the stories I read was about a forced marriage because she had been "shamed", and my mind wandered into kinky places reading the part where they first shared a room lol

F*** I loved American Gods. Though I cannot say that I loved The Anansi Boys anywhere near as much, or even his short story about Shadow in Whatever the hell book that is that I have. Where he is in Scotland and is hired to do security for a castle or something I dont remember.

Since I knew he only had a few books published (at least, when I was 17), I tried to ration them, so I still haven't read all of them. I recently read Neverwhere and I was disappointed by the complete lack of sex scenes, especially after American Gods. I'll have to allow myself an extra couple soon.

Hmm... will have to add that to the list too then. Between what he wants, what I want, and what we both want, we'll probably have Liberator pieces all over the house eventually!
