Ah... I understand. All of my books are packed up in preparation for moving rooms around to accommodate the new arrival.

Elizabeth Schechter, who wrote the last story in the book, "The Succubus," is actually the reason the book exists! She submitted the story for another of my books and I absolutely LOVED it. It wasn't right for that book, but I vowed if I got to edit a steampunk anthology, I'd publish it.

She said she might be lurking tonight.

Succubus is just such an alluring word...you can't even type it without having visions of her taking a man mmmmm. Sorry, got a little sidetracked there.

Their *stuff* needs a lot of room, no doubt! But we didn't want to put the new baby in with the toddler, so it involves combining the office and guest room so the toddler can go into what is now the guest room and the new baby can go into the nursery where the toddler is now. Exhausting just thinking about it and I don't have to move the furniture!

That I can do...I bought stuff for cheese and chicken enchaladas at the store a little while ago. I was hoping to wait until the hubby gets home this weekend to make it, but I fear I'm not going to hold out that long.

Yes, I'm here. Hi, all! I'll be in and out. (Oh, and I totally relate to those of you who were talking about being the mom of boys. I have a soon-to-be five-year-old.)

Haha, trust me when I say it doesn't get much easier as they get older. It sure is good having them around though. (99% of the time anyway)

For those who read the book, the obvious glue for all the stories is 'steampunk', but how do the stories differ?

Hello readers and fellow writers! I'm dropping by to say hello and it's quite thrilling to see that folks enjoyed my contribution to the anthology.

I'll be popping in and out since I have about an hour--max--before my bedtime and I have to write a bit. (Damn day job makes me get up at 6 AM.)

I am now kicking myself that I didn't get this book as well. That will teach me. Can we buy the one that we don't get so that we can have them both for discussions. I am really wanting it now and I wish that I had read ya'lls stories.

I know they are listed here, not sure if they are still in stock, amazon has them as well, I picked up carnal machines from them, I need to get playing with fire.
