Is it different doing all girl movies than regular ones? It seems like the all girl scenes last a long time and that you all really enjoy it.

There were toys in the bonus scene, yes?

I really liked the music, as well. Like, it wasn't too much or too little. It faded in and out when it should, and it gave the feeling that it was a big movie with sex sprinkled in.

I have a question! (If we're allowed to start already...)

Who designs the covers of the DVD cases and how is that person chosen? Because maybe it's just me but the Almost Heaven case is particularly gorgeous and so much more high class than the typical porn case.

That is what I keep reading that is more of a real film that has hot scenes in it and not a typical adult movie

Definitly trying to go for the cinematic feel. I'm glad it's coming across. Story as well is also key for me. I've been fortunate to work with fantastic screen writers that enjoy making movies as much as we do.
So who writes movies like Almost Heaven? I mean, there's the stereotype that porn films have no plot, or some slapped together plot, but I've noticed a trend in the last few years towards some very sophisticated and well written concepts and plots - Almost Heaven being a great example.

Do you film everything digitally, or on film, and which do you prefer?

Being new to the Lesbian genre , it was the consensus to stay away from toys. BUT, I am not throwing out the option. It s just has to make sense to be there.

Great direction as well. The actors could really get in there and act rather than looking up to get direction. I really appreciated that!

Are shooting days like regular 8 hour days, since there are so many in the works? Or are they longer marathon days where everything must get done at all costs?

Funny thing is, they aren't made to be video cameras. They are still cameras first.

That is so refreshing to hear. I agree that they should not be used just for the sake of having a toy in a scene. This is what makes you an amazing filmmaker.

I noticed that. There's an option on the DVD for dialog only.

Ahhh ok - fair enough.
I have noticed lesbian porn dvds do tend to stay away from toy usage.
