In all honesty, the first Masseuse movie was my favorite one. James Deen was so cute as the totally earnest guy trying to make a few bucks working his passion for the healing arts. But then his buddies come along and ruin it for him by exchanging sexual favors for massage. James can't regain control and then the struggle of getting involved with a crazy clietele...I wrote it to be very light, but very sexy. Again, I didn't direct it and I wasn't on set for filming. I only had control over what was on paper.

Cherry 2 I think was much more successful. I think it still had issues with flow of the storyline. However, I think overall the scenes offered a nice variety, it was well acted (particularly Judy Thompson), and it definitely had a sensual/erotic feel to it. I also wish you didn't tease us with the toys!

Yeah, I liked it quite a bit. It felt like it was trying to bridge the gap between real lesbian movies (e.g., Shine Louise Houston's movies) and the mainstream "girl-on-girl" films.

Yes, you would have. The story starts in Cherry 1. Without seeing it, you would be rather lost in Cherry 2. I'm thrilled you enjoyed the sex, though, and that last scene! That was the toughest one of the 5 scenes to direct, as you might have seen in the BTS. I really struggled with getting the chemistry and connection right between Kim and Tuesday. But we finally hit it right on the button and they turned in a marvelously delicious scene.

I have to say, I absolutely loved this one. Which is saying something, because as much as I love women, G/G porn is usually more of a turn off than a turn on for me.

Kay- it was such a ground breaking and gutsy move to use a recognized mainstream actress for the role of Cherry (in a non-sex role)- any suprises, negative or positive from this move?
Loved both Cherry 1 and 2 BTW- thanks for the amazing writing and directing!

Thanks for putting in the effort to get that scene just right. It's by far my favorite scene in the whole film (although I liked Jiz Lee's scene, too).

Cherry 2 definitely reflects some of that darkness. There was a definite sadness to it, especially with Cherry.

Am I too late to throw in a comment on the Masseuse?? I found the first scene very amusing when Kayden Ross had the "Lady K" (an airsoft gun complete with red tip) was trying to be intimidating and the male actor could barely keep his composure...did you have to re-shoot that or all in one take?

Your hard work paid off. That was a great scene. You definitely felt like the two women were really in a relationship.

I have to say the Jiz Lee's scene, to me, might have been better a little later in the movie. I felt that it gave a bit of an S&M tone to the film too early, which slowed me down on watching the remainder of the film. I preferred the bar scene as a starter, although it probably didn't fit there.
