Basically, if it has the intro and is tagged properly, it's generally good.

3 mins is a good time to shoot for.

When reviews come in, my job is to check tags, descriptions, titles, intro, etc

Thats the way it was explained to me. I would get an email saying it was published but I could not find it. Very frustrating!

Now, it should be said that at that time we were kicking out 300 reviews or so at the time. This was before the Editor program started. Still, it would be nice if they showed up when they are published.

I can never get mine down to 3 minutes. I feel like such a failure

On tags, make sure they're relevant, spelled correctly, and are as specific as possible (to get more tags on a product)

Thanks BBW. I am in the process of looking for a mentor as my other two reviews have not been published so I cannot ask for an upgrade at this time.

Getting a mentor is the single best thing I've done review-wise. Granted, I've only gotten one review up so far, but working on a few more. My mentor's great & I really would've been at a bit of a loss w/o her. I also feel accountable to someone so I'm more motivated and more dedicated, etc.

Don't be.
Just remember to have a list of what you want to touch on in an open notepad or on an actual notepad for reference. It will help you get it right the first time, and will eliminate a ton of UM's while you are trying to remember what you want to say.

Scripting or outlining what you want to say ahead of time really helps. It gets rid of the extra "um's" and "uh's". It will focus what you want to say if you go through and edit it.

I was just thinking that notes you can see would probably help. I tend to stutter around when I try to do anything and know that I am being filmed...

You have to request a mentor from the list of mentors. In their bios, it will say if they're available or not. You can submit multiple requests but you can only have one mentor. Once a request is accepted, all the others are cancelled. My request was accepted literally instantly, so I'd suggest putting them in one at a time, obviously starting with the one you want the most, and then waiting a day or so to see if you're accepted, then perhaps adding them day by day if none are accepted (which I find highly unlikely).

We love students like you! It's nice to know we are helping you, but I think it is important for you to know that your hard work and dedication is REALLY appreciated as well.
