It comes and goes...the "quality of reviews".

One of the biggest things we like to talk about with the program is the openness of it.

Usually, new reviewers pick up the pace and find their little niche or they move on. It's really not something admins stress about.

I'm a little unsure about what to do about review quality sometimes, too---in two cases now, as I'm making edits I will wind up deleting an extra word or two (usually "and" to clear up a run-on sentence)... and then when I go to save and publish, I get a "less than 300 words" warning.

So far, it's always been just 299 or 298, so I change an 'isn't' to an 'is not,' and let the reviewer know I made that change.

But should I be doing something else?

As long as you weren't in the first rotation, you're application will be there.

There are only a few applications Sammi and I have looked at and declined, based on our own observations.

glad I am not the only one who noticed the size problem, it seems large and under it was true to size, the plus size ones were just larges with other tags

I had that happen a few times and I did the same thing, break up a few contractions. The other option is to use the full name of the toy at one point if they use "it" a lot.

Yeah, that happens.

When I was proofing every review that came in (about a year ago), this would come up with me.

The best thing you can do is undo what you did and try to keep the basics there.

It's also an idea to copy/paste into work or something in case it's close.

I actually do copy-paste all the edits I make into the 'post a comment' box at the bottom so the reviewer knows the changes I've made.

I think breaking up contractions, or maybe Kindred's suggestion, probably come in handiest (at least the the two I've had this happen with so far). I don't really change sentence structure unless it's pretty egregious, and would sound really awkward if left alone.

Also, if you have made changes and suddenly realize you should really return the review to the reviewer, you can simply navigate away from that page without saving and the original text will revert.
