I currently have 4 different tickets with items on backorder...really??!! How long do they stay on backorder before refunding? 2 have been weeks, 1 has been months and a new one today.

What I would do is see if anything's in stock and then just reply to each ticket either asking for them to ship it (if it's in stock) or issue a refund. If you want a refund, make sure you let them know how you paid.
