Eden Friends 30% discount via Facebook on certain items.....

Ummmm, I'm not sure if I'm just being thick but I would really like the LELO Flickering massage candle on this page - link

I have 'liked' Eden on Facebook and also clicked on the 'share' button on the left hand side of that promo page (to add the link to my wall) but it only puts up a link for the Ina. How do I share the Flickering massage candle to recieve 30% off????

And even though I did share the Ina on my fb wall (I did a dumby run through the cart) it still puts the full price in the cart.

What am I doing wrong?

I bought something that way last week and it worked fine, but when I tried it now the blue button to check your facebook didn't show up in my cart. Sorry I can't help, but at least you know it's not just you.

Just hope the special isn't over before someone can let us know what to do. The instructions on that page tell ya bugger all (I followed them step by step) and we're not the only ones having an issue with it.

Actually, while I'm here - do you know why items in our cart and compare list disappear sometimes and other times they are there for ages?
It's MOST annoying!!!
I forget all the items I put in my cart ... I often put them there ready for my next order but sometimes I won't be ready for a week or so. Then they are gone. Because of that, I end up not purchasing items (sometimes I don't put them in my wishlist ... but straight in my cart).

Try logging out and then logging in by clicking Account in the top left corner and then signing in under Facebook Connect. When you go to your basket to check out, there should be an available link to click to check for Facebook specials to apply.

I hope it works for you!

Did you press the check my discount button when you check out? That is what got me . Also I had to be logged in through my FB connect , not my Eden Account.

For some reason, I don't get the Check My Discount "button" when I try to get the Facebook deals from home. I think my IP address is blocked from getting the deals. We have had to use my husband's computer from work to take advantage of these deals, for some reason. The discount button will show up there (at his work place), but not on our computers at home.

It could be that the items went out of stock and got removed automatically. I've also noticed that if I place something in my cart on my laptop but then log into my desk top, the item is no longer in my cart. Yet when I go back to my laptop, it's still there.

I just tried to do the associated logins so my fb account was attached to Eden so I could sign in using fb. But it tells me - Your Facebook log-in cannot be associated with your current EdenFantasys account because your Facebook log-in is already associated with another EdenFantasys account.

Whats up with that and how do I make it attach to my actual account??

I don't have another Eden account.

There was no check my discount button in the cart.
I do recall seeing that in the past on an order but I never used it.

I went in circles endlessly trying to get my first Facebook deal last week, and it finally just worked magically. No clue how, and usually I'm pretty good at figuring out this sort of thing.

I've found that when I log out of Eden.. or my sister logs me out so she can go on... My items dissappear too. I think the items only stay there during the Current session

I'm also having major issues, starting to think that if some ip adresses are blocked maybe our Aussie IP adresses are blocked?

I've also double checked that the item I was trying to get was in stock. argh,

Might be time to send in a support ticket shellz ?? Maybe we both should??

Yeah, I checked that the candle was in stock too. That isn't the problem that we're having but can see that it would be an issue if it was out.

Yeah, I think so too. I don't want to miss out on the deal and I want to get it so it can be sent with the next lot of DVDs which should be coming through any day.

Sure is frustrating....

Ticket sent. I stated that others have had trouble with it too.

When I log in using the facebook connect it takes me to the Eden main site. There is no name or anything up on the top right corner so it doesn't log me into my account. And yet, when I try to connect facebook with Eden (Associated Log-Ins area) it says my facebook is connected to another account.
This is what comes up in red front -

Your Facebook log-in cannot be associated with your current EdenFantasys account because your Facebook log-in is already associated with another EdenFantasys account.

I only have this (Shellz31) Eden account.
About to rip some hair out....

One good thing - my status page came back - weird but I'm happy about that!

Did you try to log out and back in again maybe? Or right click the link and see if it lets you open in a new window? Sometimes at my mom's house when I click something it goes to the main page as well, and it is really annoying.

As far as the Facebook Connect, I have been wondering about this myself. In order to get points, etc, I have to re activate everything. So I feel like I am creating a whole new account on top of it, which I think is strange.

Maybe message Illusional and she could help you? She is the one who helped me

I think the whole site has been crazy lately, and I have a feeling it will be around through the busy holidays.

Yeah, I tried to log out and back in.
I was told there is a problem and the issue is being worked on. So hopefully it won't be too long before we can do it.

For me I just added my facebook account as an associated login on my dashboard and didn't have to re-activate anything (that is unless u mean creating a seperate Eden facebook account so its not linked to your normal facebook you share with your grandparents and other relatives)

I put in a support ticket regarding it this afternoon, hopefully someone will have the opportunity to get back to me. Will report back if I discover anything helpful.

I was able to get the free toy discount but even when I tried different lelo products it just wouldn't apply them

I also noticed that the special offer image has now dissappeared from the lelo products page (such as siri, alia etc) Hope to hear back soon as I was hoping to get it here by Christmas

Me too - christmas is coming fast. I'm surprised there's no response either in here or from the tickets yet
But when I was talking on facebook, I was told someone is working on the issue. So surely it won't be too long before it's working.

Not many seem to come here or at least don't respond (no offense to those who have responded ... muchly appreciated) - maybe it's better to ask this in one of the more used areas like Sex toy information.

Sweet - I got the free toy to work. But the cart wont recognise the discount on the Lelo item!

I can even manage to get it to give me all of the 4 free toys at once but not the 30% fb discount.

I'd do the but out review way but after the roae didnt work I didnt want to commit to reviewing it. Not sure WTF I should do. Arghhh lol

Just glad the DVDs aren't ready yet. Cause I'm waiting til I can get the candle before I have them shipped. But I want the DVDs to arrive in time to view them before the discussion.
The closer it gets, the less chance we will get them here before xmas hits. But I'm guessing cause of the holidays and being with family, it will hopefully be acceptable if some don't get to view both DVDs before the chat.

I can't believe how super fast this year has gone. Feels like I missed June, July, August and September! Where did they go?

Once cherry gets a chance to go over my most recent free review (man'tr sponsored) then i can put in my usual monthly request - feels like ages since I put one in, I guess cause last months toy screwed up on me lol!

I've also got a buy out one Im still working on. hmm maybe if I get my sister to try on her account - or maybe try on my dads computer or something like that. Maybe even a different browser??

I'm hoping to submitt my Alia review to Jen today .... worked on it til 2:30am. I've just done the summary part which is one of the hardest areas of the reviews for me and now I need to do my experience. Loving Alia!!!!

My girl had this same problem. When you connect from Facebook for the first time, it makes you an account automatically using the email address from your FB account. It's a totally different account. She did this a week ago to get the free gift through FB. So her order was on that auto generated account, not her "real" EF account. It is super frustrating, because she accumulated points on that account and everything. She figured it out while trying to connect to FB from EF and getting that same message you did. The only way she could view that "other" account was to go through FB, find an EF link, and login using FB connect.

So what fixed it? She simply waited for her order to come, generated a gift card from the points she had accumulated and donated them to the Christmas family, and then deleted that account. Then she signed onto EF, went to associated logins and hooked up to FB through her "real" account. So now every thing is back to normal.

Ahhh strange why it's doing that. When it took me to another Eden account - which didn't have a name or anything on the top right like it does in this (Shellz31) account so I haven't done anything on that one. I just sign in again to Eden with my normal account.

I'm wondering if someone could please go to my account and check under the About Me tab to see if a Facebook image comes up? If it does, then my Facebook is connected to this account.

I can get the free toy via Facebook so obviously the 30% off LELO items has an issue somewhere. I have posted about the problem in another post so hopefully one of the staff will be able to tell us what happening.

Might be interesting though if I log out here and in through my Facebook to that 'ghost' account and see if it will add the LELO item there with a discount. I'll go try that now.
