What about Tim Hortons! For us Canadians that is one of our favorite coffees around. I LOVE Tims!

I voted for Starbucks also as I really enjoy their coffee. We don't have a Dunkins here in Canada.

Well, I am a Canadian. So I am a Tim Hortons lover.

If I am looking for a latte, Starbucks is the place to go. Or Bridgehead.
Yah for Tim Hortons!

Western New York has always pretended to be Canada so we have Tim Horton's everywhere. And I like it.
But I'm much more of a tea person.

I make my own coffee more like cappuccino which is 100% milk based, nescafe instant and sugar, I love it. I don't get it what people like of those uberly expensive coffee machines, I taste the coffee made by them and I don't like them somehow. I don't like buying coffee it's never that good that I make at home. Not even if I put all the sugar in the world in it. Yeah I love sugar

Starbucks of course, but it's not always the best. Ever once in a while McDonald's will make good coffee, but I only drink it cold since hot causes my stomach issues to flare up. I had a really good iced coffee from McDonald's the other day, but usually their icee things (forgot the name) are better than the coffee with just ice. Then sometimes it seems like there's no coffee, but tons of chocolate syrup. Yuck! I like my coffee strong. Now my second favorite is, and I have to admit, it sometimes beats star bucks - sonic! They're coffee that's kind of like an icee and really strong with whipped cream is the best! Krystal used to have a Java Creamer that was really mind blowingly good, but I think they stopped selling it

Usually I just make my own iced coffee though. Speaking of Krystal, their egg nog milk shake is one of the best things I have ever tasted in my life!

If I had the money to buy Starbuck's everyday, I would. Let's put it that way. But Dunkin's is awesome when you only have a few bucks... plus, it goes GREAT with their donuts.

I live in the Bay Area and have to say Creme and the Bagel Shop near my house are both great for white mocha's <3. But if we're talking brewed coffee I find it best to do it myself so that it's fresh and out of the pot hot, nothing tastes as good.

starbucks is an Italian roast, which means unless it is cooked EXACTLY right it burns. That is why it always tastes burnt.

I was at the airport for a connecting flight in Montreal and we picked up coffee ans those little round donuts--they came in such a cute carrying box and were really good. They give Dunkin Donuts a run for the money.

Right now, I'm really diggin' on Emeril's Big Easy Bold. Really strong but not bitter. I hardly put any sugar in. No cream. So. Good.

Oh but you said local. Does it count if I have to drive an hour to get there? It's this place called Cafe Verro (I think? It could be Vero or Verra. I'll have to look it up later.) in Lake George. Best coffee I've ever had. In all of the various ways of preparing it.

So I recently started HATING Starbucks. I get the most awful service. Waiting in line forever... and then they burn my coffee! I know a lot of people can't really fathom how coffee can be burned, but when it's left in the brewer too long it gets too hot and it tastes like charcoal or something. Awful.

And then I go to Dunkin's and it takes about a minute to get my coffee and leave. Don't even need to add sugar! It tastes great on it's own.

I did discover a little bakery that just opened up called "Charlie's" and they have some awesome coffee. I don't really know where they get it from or what kind it is, but it is very flavorful and not TOO dark. I love it!
