Do you think it's odd when a female does not have her ears pierced? I'm 24 and I've never had them pierced and never will, mostly because I'm scared of needles/pain.

It's not weird at all, and I have a LOT of friends who don't have their ears pierced. It's totally a personal preference and there are many reasons to not get them pierced. I, myself, have several ear piercings, but I'm really scared of needles too, so that's totally understandable to not want piercings for that reason. It's hard for me to sit still and not jump when I get a new piercing, but I just love the look so much it makes it worth it. But if it's not something you're totally wild about, there's no reason to overcome that fear.
So don't worry, you're not alone in that
As a side note, my great-grandmother got her ears pierced for the very first time when she was 101 years old so she went a LONG time without ear piercings

I don't think it's strange at all. Just a matter of preference. Mine are pierced, but I rarely wear earrings unless for a special occasion.
At least they make clip-on types in event you did want to wear them but not get pierced.

It's not odd at all. My mother pierced mine when I was a baby otherwise I wouldn't have gotten mine either because I hate needles.

You should get them pierced. It only hurts for 15-30 seconds and then it feels hot, then it's over. Ask them if they will do both ears at once, it takes two people, that's how it's done with kids so they don't have to go through it twice.

I don't fine it weird, but I suppose I am a little surprised when I encounter a woman with unpierced ears. It always seemed like a sort of right of passage for girls to get their ears pierced when they're growing up.

Ear piercing is common, but that doesn't mean you HAVE to be pierced, especially if you're scared of needles and pain.

I don't think that it is a weird as it is unusual. I find it refreshing actually, I worked at a place that pierced ears and I hate piercings a babies ears. I felt that it was wrong to do to a child who knows nothing better.

I don't think it is weird. I had mine done as a kid because I wanted it done. You shouldn't do something or feel bad about something that you don't have/want just because someone else has it.

It's not weird. If you do some searching on eBay, you can find some cute ear jewelry that doesn't require pierced ears.
