#NewEvent - Secrets in the Garden of Eden? Oh do tell...

I didn't see the mysterious post a couple weeks ago, BUT as someone who reads Post Secret obsessively every week I am THRILLED that someone was rad enough to think of making one for Eden!!!!

A couple of weeks ago I asked all of you how you would feel about doing an event very similar but not quite identical to the infamous Post Secret blog.

Most of the feedback was rather favorable and we've decided to go ahead as planned.

However, the devil is always in the details and we're missing a few pieces of the puzzle. So put on your thinking caps, it's time to make suggestions!

First, we need a name. And no, it can't be Eden's Post Secret, that's too easy. So jot down the first thing that comes to mind and hit post!

Second, we need themes. I think this will help steer the event in the proper direction, as it were and makes everyone feel a little more at ease about the content they are going to view.

Third, this will be an extremely (cannot stress this enough) heavily moderated event. Content is up to the discretion of the admins as far as the secrets actually included in the live post.

If it promotes illegal activity, it won't be posted. When I say promotes illegal activity I mean suggesting that someone rob a bank because it worked so well for you is not what we're going for here. The Terms of Service and the Expectations of Conduct apply to content and theme suggestions.

Now that all of the legal stuff is out the way - go! Let's hear what you've got in mind. This is your event and it's your chance to customize it! less

I'm confused. I don't do well with hints and innuendos at all.

I have NO idea what the "Post Secret Blog" was. I really am not a fan of all the "WAIT! Fun things coming, but we can't tell you yet." WHY NOT? I'm not here every day anymore, for a lot of reasons, and all the secrecy lately is only making me more frustrated and less..... interested. Am I alone in this? I'm only being honest. I'm nothing if not honest.

More info and less James Bond OOOO Big Secret type posting would be really really helpful.

I guess what I am saying it: JUST FREAKIN' TELL US what you are "hinting" at. Kay?

Points changes and we have said numerous times in the last couple of weeks that we're pretty much changing everything to some degree and I also stated that I would explain things as they were happening but some of the details I don't even know yet - specifically the actual dates of the releases. I can't share information I don't have, but I will share all that I can.

Review layouts will have more options, we're streamlining inventory, we're going to be doing more work with the community one on one for events and fun things.

As for this specific event it is 100% electronic. I'm not in the office and I love you all but you can no has my mailing address. less

Somebody said something about postcards.... I'm as stumped as you are about it. NOT a good idea, that, IMO.

I just not one who does well with uncertainty, Storm. In fact, when I got married and got pregnant with my kids I told my family, "I even get wind that anyone is planned a "surprise" shower for me, I won't show up." I HATE uncertainty and I hate "surprises." I like to know where I am and what I am dealing with at all times.

That's just me, though. Some people love to "look forward" to stuff. I'm not one of them, though.
