Welcome to Eden's Haunted Carnival!

We hold some pretty awesome events around the holidays for Eden. In the past, we've held live events where everyone gathers and gets to socialize and this year we've decided to add a new twist. Below, you will find information on the activities we will be hosting on Halloween, October 31st. Events begin at 10 AM, but the party can last all night if you choose!

10:00 AM - Costume Parade: (show large size pics of your halloween avatar)
We are inviting all contributors to 'dress up for Halloween' via their avatars. Beginning at 10 AM, contributors can post the full size image of their avatar and introduce themselves in their costumes. It will be a lot of fun, and set the tone for the whole day.

11:00 AM - Candy Count - Win 1000 points.
We post a photograph, then you guess how much candy is there! Winners will receive 1,000 points and there will be plenty of opportunities to win!

12:00 PM - Halloween Trivia -
There will be lots of interesting trivia questions about all things Halloween - favorite candies, favorite movies, favorite characters...you name it, it'll be there. Winners will receive 100 points. There will also be a final question worth 1000 points.


01:00 PM - Halloween History Lessons -
Stop by to learn all about the history and fascinating cultural celebrations across the world, with a focus on pagan rites. Halloween isn't all about candy and costumes. Okay, it's mostly about candy and costumes, but a little history never hurt.


02:00 PM - Horror Trailers (Youtube)-
We will be posting trailers and info-bites about our favorite horror movies and we welcome you to post your favorite Halloween movie trailers; from the classics to the contemporary, what's your must-watch Halloween favorite?


03:00 PM - Halloween Scavenger Hunt -
Join us as we go on a scavenger hunt across the web to find spooky ghosts, ghouls and goblins! There will be plenty of opportunities to win!

04:00 PM - Exquisite Corpse - Scary Stories
We give you the prompt and you add a line, that's how a story starts! Join us as we build a haunted tale to rival that of Stephen King's most horrific thoughts.

05:00 PM - Horror Discussion -
All things horror and Halloween related are welcome! Tell us about your first big scare - was the trick played on you, were you the one playing the trick? Do you remember the first time you went on a hayride or what your first costume was? Did your parents have any weird rituals or bargaining tactics for candy sorting? We want to hear all about it!

We look forward to seeing you all there and more details are to come! Let's make this a sexy, spooky good time!

I'm pretty excited about this, too. It should be a lot of fun and maybe not quite as hectic as the huge parties we've thrown in the past.

Aww... The events start so early. :/ I have work/class from 10AM - 5:30PM on Wednesdays. D: It'd be so fun if it weren't for that!

Hey there. You're no trouble at all, don't even think for a second you are.

The events work like this:

At the set time, I'll open a pre-formatted thread and anyone who is on the site at the time can participate. Sometimes they are fast-moving, sometimes they move at mach speeds, and sometimes it's just like a regular conversation.

People post and comment and to keep up all you have to do is hit refresh. We also recommend keeping two tabs open at once so you can do the activities if any searching is required so you don't miss out on anything else happening in the thread.

If you want to get a feel for how all of this works, we have two club events scheduled next week - Monday at 8 PM is Eden Cooks where we'll learn how to make popcorn balls and Halloween treats and then on Tuesday at 3 PM, Tim will teach us how to mount a sex swing.
