This whole TSA situation just stinks. I get the sentiment, I think at the heart of all this is the desire to keep us more safe.

And yet, I don't think anybody really believes this is doing the job. At least, it's absolutely not worth the cost of our dignity and emotional well-being (and possibly our health ...from radiation from that scanner?).

So, what's a better way? How do we achieve the same goal without sacrificing so much?
