Stab him in the toe because it's not really his fault but it's not really mine either so technically we're both suffering
25
Realize I'm being completely irrational and laugh about it over morning sex while unicorns wander around
90
Get mad at him and be emotionally distant but don't tell him why.
25
Give him a blow job.
27
I'm usually the one cheating in my dreams so technically I'm the other woman most of you are seeing your honey sleeping with. Also I'm a whore.
64
Stop calling me a whore, whore.
32
Make me, whore.
31
I don't ever understand these polls.

Withholding sex 101- I wrote the book on irrational reasons to not have sex with your spouse.

A dream involving a cheating spouse is prompt enough to abide by the rule to not sleep with them in order to punish them for their lewd behavior. Regardless of who they sleep with- whether it be your sister, mother, your aunt with the halitosis and the large mole on her cheek that you just want to pick at.. or Brooke Shields.

Usually the "no sex rule" is followed by the silent treatment rule (which I now realize isn't exactly punishment but more of a luxury for him ... so you know what, let's cross that out and institute instead - the talking incessantly about the new tampons you just bought, rule.) Hiding the TV remote rule (because you know he's not going to get up to change the channel and if he does, just pop the button off so he's stuck watching Lifestyle... although, if he's anything like my husband, he won't actually hate being forced to watch Designing Women) .... and that's about it.

I have had this kind of dream before and it could occur again. I was very hurt but not to the point that I was distant, angry, or planning some sort of action to spyte him. I talked to him about my dream and my emotions related to that dream so that he could reassure me. Does that make me weird...bcs I don't seem to fit in any of the categories of the poll above...

Or he can make due and jerk off to the Golden Girls... which is totally the resourceful thing to do.

Right after I took this job and was gone for 3 months pretty much the whole time, I had a dream that hubby had another woman and I was so mad at him. He just couldn't understand why I was mad! LOL
Not that I worried about him really doing anything, but I did get paranoid for awhile! Of course the kids were still home and they would have told me if ANYTHING went on taht was strange! I have them trained well! LOL
I've done the silent treatment too but figured out he enjoyed it too much but it wasn't necessarily related to a dream..

He's done it. According to him Blanche is a "saucy little minx".

Dream sex doesn't bother me. I've dreamt about sexing up people I can't fucking stand, and I've fantasized about other people while I've been in a relationship, but that doesn't mean I'm actually gonna do it. Granted, I don't think most people would openly admit to dreaming about having sex with somebody else, just like most people are reluctant to tell their partners they find somebody else sexually attractive.

I've never dreamed that he was fucking anyone else. Usually it's me giving someone else a hand job or being molested. Even if I did dream of his cheating on me, I think I'd rationalize it out as "well, I've cheated on him x times in my dreams, and he's only cheated on me x/2 times...." I have a tendency to make up excuses for him.

I think it makes sense to be upset because even if the dreams isn't real, the emotions ARE and it can be hard to simply let go of them.

I dream he cheats on me about every 6 weeks. I always tell him afterward, accusingly. He then assures me it's not happening, which I knew deep down in the first place. We then will have a nice little make-out or even a morning "do", so it makes up for it.

I think its just a good trick our brains play on us to milk the situation. Milk it! Milk it!

Most of my dreams are apocalyptic and most of my husband's dreams are like freakin horror movies (replete with masked killer and/or monsters) - so yeah, we've got that going for us. Go ahead, read into that shit

When I was pregnant with my son, I had this very vivid dream and I was so pissed off, I woke up crying yelling at my husband...which he thought was especially hilarious after I told him about the dream.

My dream was that as part of his 'job' he had to teach young virgin ladies how to pleasure a man. This was supposed to be okay in the world, something very normal, but I spied as he was 'teaching' a group of about 4 late-teenaged girls. I was so mad and upset because they were thinner, prettier, and not pregnant...lol! So, of course, I went and peed in his shoes...and then woke up.

Yeah...now we laugh about it, but I was so upset. And yes, the cat had peed in my shoes earlier that week...I think that's where my brain picked that up...

I have them ALLLLLL the time. Usually it is his commanders, co workers, or whatever random friend is on the sofa that night. Evidently in my dreams, RANK matters way too much. I am all good with those, as long as I am not tempted to act in real life, which I have been with 2 of the people I had intense sex dreams about and that gets a little too weird.

I have them about him and I am so mad. It seems so real. Sometimes it is people we know I see him with, but most of the time it is fictional uber hot chicks. I have learned to talk to him about it the next day and he never fails to ask how he liked it. He is such a goober. I do better about not getting mad, but the first ones I ever had freaked me out with him. Thank goodness I have not had one yet about the carsalesman the other day that is STILL trying to get in my panties.

Eh, dreams are dreams. If we could only control what we dream. The basis of a relationship is trust. Just 'cuz it's dreamed doesn't mean it's real.

Now if there really was cheating, that's different. But dreams, they aren't real. Yes, the emotions are real, and sure it's difficult to see our significant other "with" someone else, but as dreams are not real, I don't see how punishing them would do anything but possibly cause a rift in the relationship... as we are unable to control our dreams.

I've had those dreams and it doesn't bother me at all. I'm just not really the possessive type and sex doesn't have much to do with love in my mind.
Every time I've had those dreams I do recall asking him (in the dream) if he'd worn a condom though. Guess that's where my priorities really are with the subject .

I have those dreams every time I sleep, because she has gone behind my back. It haunts me and I cannot get rid of it. It's really difficult to deal with, because it brings back the hurt.

I have to wake up completely before talking to either Sigel or Arch after these dreams 'cause one time I didn't and I BLASTED Sigel...he was like WTF? I explained that he needed to behave better in my dreams and he wasn't amused and told Arch who promptly told me I'd have a sore ass if I tried it with him. Which lead to a dream about him and....well it was just bad.

Well since most dreams of this nature tend to be opposites or balances to real life I'd say you are deleriously happy...or completely insane....

J and I have both had those dreams. Last time I woke up and hit him as hard as I could with the pillow in his face. He was like WTF??? I was all "cheating bastard," he laughed and went back to sleep.

I usually wake up kind of mad and then realize it was a dream and then go back to sleep cuddling with him to make myself feel better. I actually get so bothered by these dreams that I wake myself up like I would a scary nightmare.

Well I usually get real jealous in my dream and confront the bitch and show her how good he really is and give him a blow job or have sex with him cause I know he wouldn't go for any other slut! And then there are those where I just cry and I'm hurt about it.

I'm guilty of silenting brooding about it when it happens. But I've learned to verbalize my worries and 90% I feel better afterward and my partner helps remind me not to worry.

this has happened a lot in my dreams...no biggie. I know dreams are completely insane, I mean, they are for ME anyway. The other night I dreamt an octopus took over my house. The weird part is that he had a British accent.

I too have had sex dreams about people I'm not even remotely attracted to. Even dreamed once that my parents molested me, which was completely untrue. It's just your imagination, don't freak out.
