I was telling my husband yesterday about something I was going to get for myself on EF. He replied "When does he get something?" I had to remind him of all the things I've gotten that are for him.

Anyway, that got me thinking....How much do you order for yourself and how much for your S/O?

This would include purchases and items for review. Also anything like lube, etc. would probably be considered for both of you.

I thought about picking 50/50, but not sure if that fits. My husband's toys are 3 cock rings. Everything else is for me (geez, I'm greedy, aren't I?), but either I'm ordering them with the 2 of us in mind (lingerie, bdsm), or he uses them on me (although some toys are exclusively for me).

We usually choose toys together that we know we'll both like using, but every now and then one or the other of us gets something we want just for ourselves.
I usually pick the toys that we ask for on the monthly reviews, because Alan says he likes to be surprised about what comes in the mail.

Woo! I'm the first selfish one. I love playing with toys with my boy, and he's definitely enjoyed some of the toys I've gotten, but I do order stuff mainly for myself. Part of it is because he doesn't spend much (if any) time on the site looking for things, and part is because what he does want is usually too expensive for us. A lot of things I do pick out are things I'd think we'd both enjoy (like anal toys or lingerie), but other things are for me (like most larger dildos), and I'm cool with that.

I'm very selfish. The guy I am with now is a bit afraid of toys and he would never go for a male toy of any kind, he'd rather have the real thing- and he's not into anal play. I do have lube but I mostly use it solo just since partner sex is a bit hard to come by in our current living situations. I generally order things for my little girl rather than myself, but they are indirectly for me. I like to see her in things and use things on her, so they're for her, but they're for me too. Though most everything is for her, it is for the both of us to enjoy.

Don't know the answer to this one. Almost all of my toys I use by myself. My partner may be present but they bring mutual pleasure, if we are together.
I am thinking about the NJoy Eleven and the Pure Wand....awesome by myself but I can't take being probed by steel by someone else. I feel the same about my Gigi vibe as well as others.
Some other toys are made for direct partner involvement such as double dills, harnesses and so many dills.....
Perhaps I over thought this question??

I would say that, up until now, most of my reviews items and purchases have been generally for me. He has enjoyed seeing me use some of them and has used them as well but there's definitely a slant. In fact, I maybe didn't vote accurately. "Mostly for myself" would've been a better option. Oh well.

I have definitely turned my eye toward BDSM and massage stuff now that he is home and maybe we'll eventually be into pegging - it's not off the table. I find it more difficult to find "us" stuff, though. He's not really sure what he might like and even a lot of couples stuff is more geared for "her" pleasure as opposed to his so it's still difficult.

I order everything for myself unless there's something my bf really wants. If it's on sale/kinda cheap, then sure, otherwise he has to wait for like his bday or xmas or something, or he can had me money to use towards buying him something. (His mom goes through his credit card transactions so it's more discreet to send me the money.)

Most of the time I order him things off other sites tho, items Eden doesn't carry.

LOL! I order a bit more for myself now as well. Mine wasn't using anything I bought specifically for him either. But I do still buy stuff for both of us or lingerie to wear for him.
