I worry EF might not be doing well, or that the stock might be shrinking. Anyone else share my concern. I have a long "want" list, and literally every item is "out of stock" and has been for many weeks, or more.
I love EF, and no longer shop anywhere else for "adult" items, but am noticing more items I want are always "out of stock". Does this concern you too?

Yeah, there are many threads about this. I just chalk it up to the economy and try to focus on what they do have. In their defence, I've seen items out of stock go in stock, it's just they don't last very long when back in stock. I guess so many people were waiting for it (like you) and it just gets snatched up right away.
For some products, Eden is negotiating with the manufacturer and that slows things down. Business is very precarious and always changing.

Many of us who have become Toy Snobs are more interested in high end items that very well may not be selling in the volume as other items. For EF to stay in business, there's the old "return on investment" thing. So it just makes good business sense to keep a lower inventory of the slower moving merchandise.

Please see this thread about EdenFantasys' product selection. There is some good information here about what Eden is doing with its stock. They are in the process of eliminating some items, adding others, and reducing duplicate stock.
Also, please try to remember that Eden is a retail store. Even though they're not selling the same kind of products we do, I see a lot of the same trends here as I do in the store where I work. High demand items will always sell out quickly when they come in because people have been waiting for them. There will be a delay to get that product restocked again because it takes time to get another order from the manufacturer, who may have to make more to fill their own orders.
On the flipside, if it took a really long time to sell out of another item, it may not be advantageous to restock that item when they could use that money/space in the warehouse to increase stock for that high demand item everyone wants.

Yes! I look at a host of other sites and debate buying it from a store that I don't know. I'd rather not do that, I'd much rather spend my money here.

While it's a bummer that EF is reducing their stock (To be fair, they DID give us quite a bit of warning, which is awesome) they do seem to still be adding new things. I think it's a mix of the economy and just having a lot of things in stock that no one ever buys.

They are changing their stock, so I'm trying to decide what I want most from here, before it is discontinued. There are some new products that I'm also interested in, so it doesn't seem so bad. Items will constantly be coming and going.

I have items too that have gone out of stock but am not worried about it. If they've been on my wish lst this long that they're out of stock maybe I didn't want them as badly as I thought to purchase something else instead.

they have made a lot of changes since I became a member years ago. Some have been good, most I have not liked that much. A lot of items are only available for a short time, then they do away with selling them. I have many times found a item that I like and would like to purchase, just to find out it is out of stock and it never comes back in stock again.

I do see items going out of stock and being discontinued, but luckily it's almost never that this happens to an item that I've been fawning over.

I have become very frustrated with this. I wait to get the email that something is in stock and rush to order it then half the time it is out of stock again by the time I am ready to check out. Sometimes even worse and out of stock before it ships.

It's not just in stock. They're discontinuing A LOT of items. I keep cleaning out my wishlist. Have deleted two pages worth of items in the past weeks.

It is the time of year for inventory changes and new product lines. I think they are being innovative and getting more unique items in --we just need to be patient.
