I don't like realistic toys. I think my partner also appreciates that I don't like them because using nonrealistic toys helps to make it clear that I don't intend to use any toys to "replace" him (as strange as that may sound).

I don't mind the other toys that aren't realistic, but I'm pretty into a few things and those toys just don't cut it. I have 6 realistic dildos, a couple of wands and a few glass toys. But the Tantus and Vixskin products get the most use.

I tend to go for less realistic toy designs personally, but admittedly there is some logic behind following some anatomical cues when it comes to toy design. I do think it's important for non-realistic toys to be designed thoughtfully for both form and function, otherwise you end up with a pretty toy that really does nothing for you.

Realistic toys don't make them real and my boyfriend is a little uneasy about them if they look real. I'd rather something fun and inventive when it comes to my toys and he is more open to using them too.

I wish this was a checkbox poll instead of a radio button. I think cocks are hot, but there just aren't very many realistic toys that are made of safe materials. Otherwise I'd own more.

I do prefer cock-shaped but differently-colored options, like the colorful line of Tantus' O2 and their VIP (my favorite).

Artsy stuff can be fun though too, I love my NobEssences!

I actually enjoy both categories. Artistic toys are pretty and unassuming and can offer a wider variety of sensations, while realistic toys are more fun to fantasize with. My favorite toy (in both looks and feel) is fairly realistic, while the four favorites underneath it are abstract.

Like many starting out we avoided realistic toys. However as we matured and expanded our tastes we learned the obvious.

The female anatomy was designed to respond to the shape of a penis. Even many non-realistic toys have a bulge at the tip which essentially mimics the head of a penis.

Any reluctance my wife had about realistic toys evaporated when we first used the Vixskin Johnny - she just went ballistic. Having something that feels real - but is a bit larger than her modestly endowed partner - rocked her world like no other toy.

I like a colourful toy with an interesting shape. I only really like realistic toys if they're moulded from an actual penis, for me that is a turn-on, rather than just having a penis-shaped sculpture out of someone's imagination.
