The last two orders I have placed (and you think I would have learned from the previous order), I get so excited to actually place the order that I forget to check for discount codes and/or free gifts. Do you always check before placing an order or get too excited and totally forget?

I never forget the discount codes, since I usually base my orders on what I can afford with a code. Sometimes I forget the free gift though, which is fine.

I always use either my affiliate code for 15% off or a sale code.
The free gift - I think I've forgotten it on about 4 out of my last 10 orders....then again - I have a TON of wipes around here anyway.

I am trying to stockpile the toy wipes so I was mad at myself when I forgot to include them with my order a few days ago. Luckily (thanks to all the sales this week) I ended up making another purchase the very next day. Didn't forget the wipes that time!

I always check for coupon codes. I forget the free gift often. Luckily I have a stash of wipes that could last a lifetime so it's not a huge deal if I forget sometimes.

The first time I placed an order I didn't realize there was a free gift, but making sure I add it to the cart now has become a part of the pre-order-placement ritual right along with checking addresses, CC numbers, shipping date estimates, etc.

At first, I thought this was about placing orders with reckless abandon because the products look so appealing... I've done that before. No regrets!
However, there was one occasion where I didn't think to check out the free gifts. Granted, this was a free assignment, so it is not as if I spent money.
