Hello everyone!

There were a few more changes made in the forum and around the site that I'd like to take a moment to try and explain for you real quick.

Dates: The dates are now listed a little differently. Before, you could hover over the time stamp to get an actual time stamp. Now, the time stamp is listed for you. You can still hover and get the same date and time as you could before.

Online indicators: There are now little indicators that tell you if somebody else is online or not. These can easily be controlled from your dashboard if you don't want people to know anything specific, and there's a more in depth description here, along with instructions.

Pictures: You can now upload photos directly to your reviews! At this time, there is no media library for images, but you can upload photos that would be deleted from other hosting sites like Photobucket, Flickr, or Imageshack for being realistic.

Hot damn! Thanks for letting us upload photos here! It'll be so much easier. I'll admit that having to host pictures elsewhere was really starting to factor into the quality of my reviews. After I finish editing them, I had no desire to fight with a third-party host! You guys rock!!!

Thanks Sam for this information. Can we still up load our pictures with other hosting sites like Flickr? Now that I have it mastered, it is sometimes hard to teach us old-dog new tricks Is the new arrangement much simpler?

You just click a button and upload the picture from your hard drive. It's right next to the tutorial on how to add links and stuff.

And I just did a review using photobucket so you can still use them.

Thanks Sam for the info. I had noticed the dates for when reviews were submitted. I love that feature b/c made me realize I'm within a couple days to be able to do my monthly review.

I actually don't have a tutorial yet for uploading directly to your review, but there's nothing wrong with continuing to do it from whatever hosting site you've been using. This is just another option.

I am curious about when we edit others reviews how will this show up? Does it need to have the img format or does it just work?

Woohoo! I'll be making my first trial of photo uploading later today if I get all my mentoring done in a timely fashion.

I guess I'll figure out soon, but can we place them where we want within the review, or do they default to the top or bottom?

As for the images in reviews, I haven't messed around with it on my own reviews yet so I'm not 100% sure what the default size or landing point is. I do know that they format properly to begin with.

*lone grumpy voice* I don't like the new time/date feature. It looks messy.

Good news about the picture up-loading, though. Does it also work that way on the forums? Or do we still have upload a link with the image tags?

Is it automatically adjusted for people across time zones, or are our Russians and Australians going to get all confused?
