Well. My wife wants nothing to do with anal sex, I however like it. So I'm forced to do it solo. This makes me feel shame that I have to either hide it or wait till she is gone.

I enjoy anal stimulation and don't think there should be any shame involved there as our bodies were meant to be enjoyed! That being said, and not to hijack the topic, but with the prevalence about sexual abuse and social stigma, I wonder how people do not feel some degree of shame...it's kinda sad, but also why I get energized reading how open people are here.

I actually was talking about this with a friend recently. She thought that butt sex was disgusting and didn't want to talk about it. But I think it's fun, and I was kind of ashamed of myself but not enough to stop.

There is nothing to be ashamed of. If you like Anal, then that is what you like. Everyone is unique in their tastes. Just because society tells us something is wrong, doesn't mean we should listen to it. I personally enjoy Anal sex. It scared me at first and then once I got past my fear, a whole new erotic world opened up. I say if you haven't tried, don't knock it! And don't feel ashamed for being who you are.

Hubby and I discussed your post at length. Sadly, it sounds like you are married to the wrong guy. If you cannot feel open and ENJOY what you do in bed together...the MOST trusting and intimate of times, then that is a terrible burden and sure does not make for a healthy marriage. SO many guys posting here WISH their gals were like you (or me) and ENJOYED anal.....and here, your hubby has that and considers it a BAD thing???? Gee...I am sorry for you. Maybe counseling would help????? The ONLY emotion my hubby tries to give me is pleasure and pride. Nope... no shame. I might feel shame if it didn't feel so damn good. Admittedly, I am sometimes distracted by concerns about cleanliness, but it always turns out that everything is fine. And in the very rare cases that everything isn't perfectly clean then I just have to put it in perspective and realize that that is life and it is not the end of the world.

I'll admit that I do have concerns about hygiene when we have anal sex (aka. "is there poop on the condom?"), but other than that I don't really feel any type of shame.
It might have to do with the fact that my fiance loves anal sex, and that we don't do it very often.
