what ever you choose, plz make sure it has a flared base to keep it from acidently slipping in and causing you to have to take a trip to the ER

Depends. Beads give a totally different sensation from a plug. I think a plug is a good place to start. Beads can be a bit interesting and odd if they are a first anal toy
