I would say that it's a joint decision. We both initiate and try to do what will work best for both of us.

the decision to have sex falls on both of us and is always agreed upon, however i tend to be very verbal about what i want in the bedroom so we go through switching positions a lot, but thats not to say my partner doesnt tell me what he wants when he wants it. We're very open about what we'd like to do sexually and usually find a middle ground to agree upon when it comes to foreplay and sex.

It's complicated. She controls when we're going to have sex. But once in the act - 85% of the time I've picked the toys (I bought them all) and have a plan for what to do with them. However depending on whats working or not, she may ask me to switch to some other toy or position.
For the 15% of the time when she takes charge - the above scenario is reversed. I will give her free reign - unless its not working for me.
