I tend to be a planner but even if I do have a plan in advance it's really just a loosely connected set of ideas and not an actual plan. When it comes to sex things rarely go according to any plan and it'd probably be boring if it did.

I often plan things, do whatever preparation is necessary and keep the appropriate toys handy. But I like for it to feel spontaneous, so I do all that stuff on my own and just suggest, seemingly out of the blue, that now might be a good time! Like Gunsmoke said, once we start, things tend to take on a life of their own. When that happens, I always just go with it.
When we were a lot busier, we actually had to schedule time to have sex. That was MUCH better than not having sex, but less fun than the way things are now.

Good question! I've usually always been the 'director' during sex so I tend to have a 'script' in mind when we start fooling around. Sometimes its a more detailed fantasy of something new I wanted to try. (Being quite kinky means so many possibilities.) Other times its just a sketch of what I want to do.
Of course, nothing is exactly set in stone and either of us can switch it up whenever we want. Sometimes what we try doesn't work so we just have to move onto something else. And there are always spontaneous go-with-the-flow times where things just 'happen'! One thing I love is whispering a sex scene into her ear while I play with her til she cums, and then another time act out what that scene was!

Last night we planned it. Well, I bartered for it, actually. It was amazing. He's not one for toys, but I insisted that he use them on me, as part of the deal. I think it turned him on, to think about it all day. We didn't get to do half of what I had planned (sensory play), but I'm okay with that. Seriously, I am. It was fantastic. I don't really plan kinky sex, because it tends to scare my husband off. It has to be more spur of the moment.
