For me at the moment the cost of getting one is more painful then the procedure itself. If I could get it done for like $30 then I would be as regular about it as I am with my eyebrows. The medications that I take make my hear grow in excessively and thick. Other hair removal methods just don't work.

I'm too scared to get one. I'd like to try laser hair removal at some point maybe.

I've had most the hair down there waxed, but never all of it. I'd like to get all at some point.

I'd rather just shave than wax. Plus, waxing is expensive!

My choice wasn't there. I have had it done and I would say it's painful and not worth it to me. I ended up getting laser hair removal so I wouldn't need to wax anymore.

I reccomend numbing spray with a higher lidocane percentage if your worried about pain. It only hurts for a little while and then it goes away and the results last for a while. You should let the hair grow out for about 5 weeks to get a good result espically if its your first time. If you dont wait long enough the second hair growth will come in and the results wont last as long.

My wife got one a while ago, and she didn't experience as much pain from it as she thought she would.

No, but I had a man call the spa today and ask for if we did full Brazilian's for men.

I am about to start esthetician school and that is one thing that never crossed my mind: that a guy would want a full Brazilian. Made me rethink my decision for a second. Not that I think it is gross or anything that some men want it, but we live in a really small town and the likelihood I will run into these men (or know them already) is pretty high. It just makes me uncomfortable: touching another man's junk. I think I will have a women-only policy.

No and I never will. I'm more than happy to use my Emjoi to achieve the exact same results and it doesn't hurt me anywhere near as much as waxing. I can rip out less hair at a time with the Emjoi so it's less painful. After the first couple of rounds the Emjoi doesn't hurt at all.

It isn't as bad as you think if you follow a few simple steps. Do not get waxed around your period you are more sensitive during this time. Take two ibprofren bout an hour before and avoid caffeine until after your waxing. To avoid ingrown hairs make sure you are exfoilating with a gentle scrub and there is a product called Tend Skin that works wonders for ingrown hairs.

@Redboxbaby you will probably get a kick out of this video then! This is my regular esthetician who was featured on my show for waxing. This is how she handles "manscaping"

That is too funny. My first reaction when I got off the phone with him was, "Really? They can hang through it? Sometimes just barely brushing the area can make 'em cringe and he wants me to wax him totally?"

They surely don't want their balls waxed right? I don't know, so if there are men out there that do this...more information would be welcomed!

Hahaha! I laugh every time she tells me about it. I can put you in touch with Victoria if you would like to talk to her about it. She's been doing it for years and isn't shy about it, that's for sure

I am headed to the school today and plan on asking lots of questions. This isn't something real common here in Alaska for men to do according to the spa owner. I hope it is not a growing trend.

I guess the expense, time and pain always discouraged me but I thought it was the ultimate in pampering.
I just got into total shaving and never looked back.

I wax myself on a regular basis. DIY Brazilian waxing hurts a lot, but I find that a shot of whiskey beforehand and 800mg of ibuprofen make it more manageable.
