Harmful effects of mastubation - true or utter crap?

Contributor: BiBrian BiBrian
I've always thought that masturbation is a healthy thing to do for men and women as well. But the other day I've been discussing the masturbation topic with my friends, and it revealed that some people still believed that it may cause some problems with erection and early ejaculation. And their confidence made me doubt. What if it is possible that masturbation can be harmful?

Have you ever faced any side effects of masturbation? What were they? And how to avoid them? I really enjoy masturbation and I'm not going to deny myself in self-pleasure. But I don't really want to deal with negative influence either.

universal tip: exercise physically even if it's only jogging in the evening, and pause betweeen faps for 2-3 days.
Better yet if you get your gf to lend you a hand, feels ten times better

Harm?
IDK what happened to my tip, but I hate bjs. It feels unpleasant in some way, I can't explain it.
Also first few times I had sex I couldn't cum. Later it turned out fine, but I still don't ask for head

I guess your friends exaggerate the detrimental impact of masturbation. As a matter of fact, masturbation is part of healthy sex life. There are a lot of studies and investigations that debunked the common myths about solo sex such as it may cause blindness, hairy palms, infertility, erectile dysfunction, mental problems, weakness, etc., etc., etc.

At the same time, researches reveal many benefits of masturbation. It helps to lower stress and prostate cancer risk, it boosts immunity, allows to better understand your body and, actually, helps you to last longer.

The bottom line is if you have never faced any side-effects from your masturbation sessions, you are welcome to keep up playing with yourself as you did before

Actually, masturbation may lead to some negative side effects. If you masturbate too rough and intense, it may cause irritation or even damage to your blood vessels or nerves. So lubrication is very important not only for anal sex!

Haha, hairy palms and blindness are scary stories for teenagers.

I was talking about real harm to health because of masturbation.

No, I have not faced any side-effects yet, and I really hope that I won't!

Yeah, I've noticed too that physical exercises help to decrease sex tension.

My GF hands are amazing for handjob, that's true, but my hands are with me anytime I need them, unlike my GF's ones.

I can't see any reason why you should love BJ. I guess it is okay to love some things in bed and to hate others. If it feels unpleasant, you shouldn't do it and replace it with stuff that drives you crazy.

Thankfully, I wasn't too rough with myself! Have you had such problems with irritation and so on? What is the treatment?

about exercise, I meant it for better sensations actually.
Just sign up for gym or, say, swimming pool and make sure to work out at least 1 hour three times a week.
Then if you have sex / masturbate, it all feels more intense, perhaps due to better blood circulation. In fact gym doesn't make you want less sex) you become hornier

I can tell you from my experience, that all these talks about masturbation can cause any problems with erection are utter crap. I masturbate almost every day and haven't had any side effects.

My SO usually reaches orgasm too fast, while I'm far away from cumming, and that's it, the end of the encounter. So I actually wish masturbation causes me an early ejaculation to be on the same page with my girlfriend during sex.

I understand what you mean - the healthier the body is overall, the higher our ability to enjoy sex is.

But I also use intense physical exercises to relieve sexual tension. When I am extremely horny and there is no way to satisfy this desire for some reason, running for example is quite helpful to get distracted from horny thoughts.

To be frank, I enjoyed a lot of pleasure from masturbation, and until today there is no problem. If you didn't notice some abnormal, why not follow your heart and continue? It really brings me bliss and I won't quit it.

There is a little suggestion that doing masturbation doesn't too often and too hard. Be gentle to your genitals, try to taste sweet in a slow way and you will enjoy more like me.

Masturbation can be a problem only if you like it so much that your partner is not getting attention from you in the bedroom! Otherwise, it brings a lot of benefits like training your stamina if you are a man and making you glowing of satisfaction if you are a woman.

I agree with NickiLenaj. Ive been alive for quite a few years and have always masturbated (especially during my married years because our sexual relationship wasnt the best and i wasnt going to cheat on my wife). I have never had any issues by doing it. Now it helps me last longer with the woman im going out with so it has benefits.

I have been masturbating for years. I have found it increases the pleasure for both myself and partner. I would be interested in reading some actual medical evidence on this topic.

My fiancee has been masturbating since puberty. She has masturbated almost every day since, including on days she's had sex or was going to have sex. She has only positive effects from masturbation.

When she was in college, most men she fucked had no clue of how to get her off. Finally, out of sexual frustration, after one of her boyfriends got off leaving her sexually frustrated, she masturbated. She saw that he was watching her, and his dick was hard again. So she spread her legs and gave him a view of her masturbating. She found out that men became incredibly turned on watching her masturbate, so she'd masturbate for her boyfriends. To this day, even after she's had many orgasms, she'll spread her legs to assure I get an unobstructed view and she'll masturbate with either her fingers or one of her vibrators. She knows it gets me hard. I have a lot of intensely erotic video of her masturbating.

As far as I know, there is no medical research that has proved negative consequences from masturbating.

BTW, while I was dating the woman who would become my fiancee, she asked me if I was in to mutual masturbation. I think she used mutual masturbation during her college years as birth control. Almost always it would end with her sucking her boyfriends' dicks.

Doggie is my fiancee's favorite position. 90% of the time that I'm banging her doggie, she's rubbing out orgasms.

My fiancee loves to have her mouth fucked because she can masturbate while I'm fucking her mouth. I can actually feel her head twitch between my hands when she cums while I'm fucking her mouth.

My fiancee can come a dozen times during a prolonged sexual experience. My face buried in her gorgeous bush with my tongue sucking and licking her clit and one of my fingers massaging the inner ridges of her pussy with another finger deep inside of her ass is by far her preferred way to orgasm. He second favorite way to orgasm is masturbation, especially with a vibrator inside of her pussy and a butt plug inside of her ass. Anal pressure increases intensity of her orgasms.

My fiancee seems to become more horny after orgasms.

I get female masturbation. Women's brains release euphoric chemicals upon orgasm.

I agree! A huge stress reliever! Sometimes I feel like I'm going crazy if I can't! Lol, honestly I'd be shocked if there were harmful side effects! I've always been told it's healthy. Even a sex ed teacher in school taught us it was healthy to masturbate that was in the 8th grade too! I'm surprised I remember that

Aha! That's why they got us, the boys to leave the room.

And when we returned to nogirls classroom, the teacher told us something different, that we'll get blind if we beat off, and get hairy hands and everyone will know we are wankers!

Utter crap. There is such a thing as CMS, chronic masturbation syndrome. That only affects those who use a pressure style of masturbation. If you hump something your erect penis should slide I. And out. If you only press against something such as mattress without moving your erection in or out that can damage or restrict the free flow of blood vessels. Instead of pressing move your erection in and out, this distributes the pressure all along your penis rather than concentration on one part. Those with chron

That was one aggressive rejoinder without proof.

Instead of unsupported assertions, please post links to scientific research upon what your "utter crap" assertion emanated. Hearsay will not float your agenda. Actual peer reviewed research published in professional journals would help you petition for position as jack off oracle.

A very serious concern that has dire consequences for America and Americans is the slinging and catching of crap. Most Americans are clueless of opinion, belief, and knowledge. Not all the long ago, research indicated that 50% of Ivy League students couldn't discern real news from fake news. And these people vote!

Sigmund Freud, a drug addled fraud, was parroted as psychology's guru for nigh on a century before his theories were proved to be udder crap. How many people did voodooists screw up by "diagnosing" patients based upon criteria pontificated by a brain damaged drug addict?

Post of link of actual scientific research that supports your udder crap pronouncement, and I'm telepathically transfer brownie points to your intellectual bank. "JAMA", "Lancet" or a medical research university would work as long as it's peer reviewed. Otherwise, you might want to undertake circumspection before palming off opinions and beliefs gleaned from the 'net as knowledge.

Americans have become so easy to propagandize that slingers of it have abandoned burdens of attempting to mask propaganda with illusory image of legitimacy.

My fiancee has been masturbating just about every day since she's hit puberty. If anything, it has been beneficial. She masturbate after sex during which she'll have at minimum three orgasms, intermission, and go again.

Second that. I used to hump the mattress back in the day. That's why my cock reacts negatively to bjs and some positions now.

and The Prod, don't get into a fight with Sancho01. He believes he is the only one entitled to know about sex.

Croc,

Your puerile attempt to create acrimony as a diversionary tactic to avoid intellectual discussion portents poorly for your desire to be taken as anything but an amateur with only knowledge of porn fantasy, for sex with women you know not.

Humping a mattress is beyond bizarre. You should trying have sex with women. While I have no clue of sexual satisfaction of screwing mattress coils, my guess is really pussies have Sertas beat all to heck.

And attempt to extrapolate sexual pleasure you've experienced (are experiencing) from pumping mattresses to your ability to experience sexual satisfaction is voodoo. My guess is you've yet to experience blissful euphoria of a woman.

I've heard of a lot of weird sexual behavior, almost always associated with MDSO's and sexual deviants: you're the first I've heard of banging a bed. You ought to try banging a woman on a bed.

Now put on your big boy pants and get busy seducing a sexbot.
