18... first year of college. It was... and interesting experience. It took a while to get inside of her... and once I did, I really did not know what I was doing.

I was 19, and it was a good experience. My friends at the time had all had sex well before I did, and like guys can be, they were positively brutal with regards to how they teased me about it. After our date and I dropped her off at her home, I put in Foreigner's "Feels Like the First Time" and cranked it up. To this day, that song brings a huge smile to my face.
That said, when I was nine, a girl who was a year older than me introduced me to the concept of sex and there was vaginal penetration. I don't count it as losing my virginity, though, as I had no idea what was going on or that it was even sex.
My son turns nine this year, and needless to say, I'm a bit nervous about him getting involved in a similar situation.

I was 16. I wanted to do it and get over the anticipation, the fear, etc. It could've been better, but the guy was pretty understanding and gentle about it. Very uneventful, no fireworks or anything, but much better than it could've been.

I think I was 19. It was really awkward, since it was the first time for both of us. It was maybe the second time hubby had taken leave from the Navy to come see me, and we did it in the cheap hotel he was staying at. I don't really remember much aside from that.

I was 14 (my husband 15) and while at the time we thought we were ready, we were way to young and I will now tell my children to wait. Something my parents never did. It was awful in the sense we did't know what we were doing but good in the sense I went on to marry that man.

14, way too young. It was rather boring for me too. I didn't cry and it didn't hurt and there was no bleeding at all. Best part though, he compared me to a slip 'n' slide
