So I just finished reading Kafka's "Metamorphosis" It's about a guy that ends up turning into a giant bug overnight and how his family turns on him. So if you really really I mean really loved someone! Like they were the sweetest most understand person in the world! And one morning you woke up and physically they were a giant bug, would you take care of them, would you find a way to be intimate even though they were a giant bug, or would you be totally freaked out and ditch them! Oh and they are still intelligent they have all the memories and feeling that they had before. They can be whatever bug you want!
Really Really Strange Question...

This is a very interesting question, but it is still too early in the day for me to wrap my head around this one. Of course you want to say yes, but the reality of this situation is just insane.

As much as I love my husband.. There really is no way I could stay with him if he turned into a bug! I have a HUGE phobia of the creepy crawlies. Ugh.

Do bugs have penises? I know their mouths move side to side, rather than up and down, so I don't know how that would be.
I'd probably take care of him and put him in a little tank so he couldn't get stepped on and then get myself someone else to screw.
I silly question deserves a silly answer.
Although I admire you for reading Kafka, he always put me in a sad mood.

i would have to agree with redivinylkitty no big on the creep crawlies

I would be worried about the size difference, I mean she would have a hard time giving me head and it might be hard to give her oral. If she was big enough to do things like that I don't think I would have a choice!

Look at this picture of cockroach penises before you say you would still have sex. You'll want to change your answer.
This page says they can be shaped like hooks to remove the sperm of other roaches. What must cockroach vaginas be like that they can handle that? Steel reinforced?
The metamorphosis situation is all hypothetical, but maybe you wouldn't be the cockroaches type anymore. Maybe he'd prefer someone with an exoskeleton. But in the story I think his brain was the same.
I voted 'I don't know' but after seeing the pics, its clear there would be no sex.

Since my partner is a woman, I think that it would be less of a hassle. Now, with that being said, I would of course still be with her and still take care of her. I would also still love her all the same. But intimacy would be hard, of course, as I've never had sex with a bug to know the mechanics. I also do not know how this would work in terms of interspecies relations - would it be possible, or would I only be able to finger her? It depends on a lot of things. BUT, if it were possible for me to make love to her in her buggy form, then yes, I would.
I would try to get past the fact that her body is now..a bug, you know? And eventually, I would get used to it, because love is not skin deep, it's much deeper than that.

I would die of fright. Just fall over dead, right there.
07/23/2010
I would kill it. I wouldn't know it was them. I hate bugs.

I would take care of my poor bug hubs, but it would be awful for sure. Kafka and his symbolism...such a card
07/23/2010
My cat would eat him.

That book has been on my "To Read" list for a while. If Cyn turned into a bug on me, well...either one of the cats would probably get her. I'd be sad.

That would probably be my first reaction too.

Kafka is pretty wacky stuff. I would take care of them...sure, but I don't have any fantasies of bug sex...so yeah I'd be finding someone new to please my other needs.
Also, the cats would probably eat her. Especially the one that loves playing with bugs.

I think I would die of a heart attack if my significant other turned into a bug over night.

i dont have sex with insects so i pick get a new bf LOL

Whoa, I don't know. I am reminded of the manga, Bondage Fairies. The little fairies in it sometimes do it with insects and somehow it doesn't horrify me. But real bugs terrify me. They terrify my significant other, too. We take bugs outside rather than kill them, but we often have to avert our eyes (some insects and spiders where we live are huge!). If one day he was like that, we might both have a heart attack and die. I really don't know what kind of bug I could tolerate. I think he would happily put off sex for me. Unless some bugs have crazy sex drives... :'0 I might one day try sex if his parts didn't look dangerous (referring to the roach parts link above). But he would probably not get fellatio.

But, not a spider, if he turned into a spider (despite my not believing in the use of pesticides) I'd buy a 50 gallon barrel of RAID!
07/23/2010
I want to say yes but bugs creep me out beyond description in their small size. If I saw a giant one I think I would have a heart attack or turn into a track star.
07/23/2010
That is one of the best! I read it a few semesters ago for an English class. Such a heartbreaking story!

I took a while to consider this question before posting. I DO NOT like bugs. If my sweetheart turned into a giant bug, my first instinct would probably be to flee! But, if I knew and understood that it was them, of course I would stay with them. Of course I would take care of them. And, as much as I dislike bugs, I would try to find a way to be intimate with them. I love my partner, and that love is more than skin deep. I love his mind, his sense of humor, his personality, his soul. I consider myself a flexible person. I adapt quickly to change, and am not easily shocked. I don't panic easy either. I'm usually always calm and (mostly) rational about whatever circumstance comes along. I'd probably be like "So you're a bug. So what? Just don't lay eggs in my ear at night, and everything will be chill."
07/23/2010
Oh, I wouldn't mind so much if he turned into a butterfly or a ladybug, by the way.
That would be pretty rad.

There should be another option that reads as follows: None of the above. You should be reading "The Penal Colony" instead.

I didn't think of butterflies. I'm actually a little scared of them, too! Up close, they look like, well, bugs. But I suppose for bugs they can be cute and pretty. Mothra is pretty cute to me...for a bug! I would hope for something like that. Ugh, now I'm almost believing this might happen.

Wow. I can definitely say that I would care for him, but I don't know about sex. Do bugs even feel sexual pleasure?

I would imagine they feel a certain amount of both pain and pleasure because they have a nervous system. It probably wouldn't be the same type of sensation as we feel but I would imagine it would feel good to them because they do have nerves of sorts.

I just read that they do have nerve endings connecting to there reproductive organs so I suppose this means that they do feel something do there.
