When I'm sick, especially with a cold, I don't want to be touched. Don't want to masturbate. Don't want to even think about it. I remember one time with my ex, I had completely lost my voice, and he decided he was in the mood. Since I couldn't tell him no, I had to just keep pushing him away from me and shaking my head. As long as it's not a stomach thing. I'm OK with a cold, and I always have a headache, so as long as it isn't "ice pack, heating pad and 2 Vicodin" level migraine, sex usually makes me feel better. Sometimes I can't give proper head with a cold, but I always try. If I start dripping on him (EW GROSS!) or making very unsexy snorking noises then we'll have to figure out something else to do, sexually. We always do.

Depends on how sick. Last night I was coughing for forty-five minutes straight and could barely get a breath in. I told my husband we could still try if he wanted, but I wasn't making any promises on how long I'd be able to last. He said he'd wait 'till I felt better. LOL! If I'm running fever, don't touch me. The sniffles I can work with.

I hope you feel better. There's some stuff going around, my kids and I have colds and our little one has totally lost her voice.
Get plenty of of caffeine free or low caffeine (tea is fine, coffee not so much, unless you need a cup to prevent a headache) fluids, rest and use a vaporizer to get moisture into the air in your house. A shot of Nyquil or better Vicks Cough and Cold will help you sleep. Now, go get a big glass of water and put on some water for tea..... now.

If I am cramping for whatever reason an orgasm can help so I'm up for that but sometimes PIV sex worsens the problem.
My guys are very understanding and generally don't want me winching in pain unless that's on the menu so we don't have much conflict in that area unless I am refusing to see the Dr. and the sick is dragging on.

Nothing seems to bother My Man when he's getting head. Not even "unsexy snorking noises." I remember when we first started living together, (I have terribly non-working sinuses) and he would suddenly say in the middle of the night, "What in G*d's name is that infernal clicking noise?" Me:"Um.... that's my sinuses...." It doesn't bother him anymore.
Yeah, the headache thing, a moderate one is helped by sex, while the simple motion of sex during a nasty one is terrible. In fact, he claimed the reason he went right to sleep last night was that I had a full blown migraine when he came home. ..... uh, got better..... He should have asked, Fioracet and Vicodin have a miraculous effect on headaches.

Really depends on the energy level and how I'm feeling at that moment. Sometimes when I'm sick I'm exhausted all the time - can't really have sex effectively when I have no drive. Sometimes I will feel better even when I'm sick, and sex has actually made me feel better afterwards.

I used to find sex helpful for cramps, but as I get older, the cramping only happens during the very heavy first day of my period, when it's just too icky to have sex. Period sex is fine if the flow is light, but not when it's a tidal wave.
So mostly I want to be left alone, or maybe snuggled a bit. If he wants sex when I'm sick, he'll have to take care of it himself or wait till I'm feeling better.
