Long of Jersey City, New Jersey received a U.S. Patent for his invention, a device “to prevent the occurring of involuntary seminal emissions.” A ring around a sleeping man’s penis would create an electrical current shocking the man upon the enlargement of his penis causing the man to awaken and avoid a nocturnal emission.
