A lot of us have gone to school, or even worked with, people who landed in the adult industry- whether we know it or not. (Trust me, I'm just waiting for one of my old classmates to recognize me.. one of these days!)

So here's the question- Have any of you gone to school with / worked with / played sports with (you get the point!) someone who ended up in porn, be it mainstream, or amateur- even a cam model? Regardless of whether you have or not, would you watch porn with someone you once knew, or perhaps still know, in it?

Sort of? My ex girlfriend is in a porn I own. I didn't realize she was going to be in it at ALL, and she was not in the porn scenes themselves, but rather a "voice" in the movie. Still, it was a bit awkward watching the movie with my husband.. Lol.

I have worked with people who are in porn - on projects and ongoing things, here at this job. I also know people from before I worked for Eden that are involved in porn. Doesn't bother me at all.

My boyfriend's ex was in an Xtube video and was quite proud. But when some of the guys actually watched it, they said it was disgusting and she became kind of a lame joke. My boyfriend and I have never seen it, but apparently it's still floating out there somewhere lol. This isn't to say that people in porn are disgusting, just this girl is (take my word for it). But it would make me uncomfortable to watch porn if it featured people I know personally. I couldn't do it.

LOL, I totally understand what you mean. Definitely not the type of thing I would check out!

I have gone to school with a girl that ended up on a very amateur site, which I found out on facebook. Out of curiosity, I checked it out. Definitely didn't do anything for me, haha.

Odds are if anyone else I knew was in porn, I might check it out just for kicks, but probably wouldn't be aroused by it.

Agreed. This may sound terrible, but... if it was someone I particularly didn't like, I'd be more likely to watch it than if it was someone I liked. I mean, I don't want to see my good friends naked. I just don't. But if it was one of the people who used to torture me in high school... well I'd be interested in watching it for the sake of gossip purposes (small city, there are no secrets, so there would be gossip). Not something I'm proud of, but honesty counts for something, right?

Haha, so true. Don't worry, you're not the only one, honesty definitely counts for something! And I've got a site of my own to worry about, but thankfully I wasn't a jerk in HS or anything like that, so hopefully no one will be hate-viewing it, haha.

Same here— I have worked with a variety of people who have been involved in the sex industry in one form or another and have a couple close friends who have been in adult movies. At first it was kind of novel and odd to think about, but now I don't even think of it as unusual at all.

I worked with a hot gay guy who wound up doing straight porn. I'd definitely watch his movies (he's a total hottie!), except that he refuses to tell me his porn name, lol.

I would watch anyway. I will say that I have a movie with an actor who strongly resembles my son. He even has the same mannerisms. That one is uncomfortable for me to watch even though I know its not him.

I can definitely understand how that could give you the creeps. I would have a hard time watching a porno with someone resembling any of my family members, let alone if the person resembled my child!

I'm sure someone I've gone to school with is in the adult film industry, but I have yet to find out who. I would probably watch out of curiousity, but not if it was somebody I was really good friends with. I just wouldn't want to see them that way.

Yea! I would probably watch porn that stared someone I know. I would want to see how comfortable and good they are, from my perspective. Might help me make a decision on getting into it myself as a webcam model.

Good point! I never really thought of it that way... but I also haven't come across any videos (just a few pics on an amateur site) to really watch and see how well they perform, etc. Wonder if anyone I know is looking at my clips/website for the same reasons.. hmm.

I would as long as whoever it was didnt start acting all funny if they found out I watched it. Some people do things and then when friends see it they start acting like its killing them to know you know what they do. I wouldnt want the headache. If they let me ask all my questions and we can discuss their experience then I'll most definitaly watch.
