I'm not sure what you're really asking. The Feeldoe can be used with a harness, and they complement each other quite well (note: I don't have a Feeldoe, but I do have other "L-shaped doubles" (Tango, Nexus)).

The Feeldoe provides enhanced control and stimulation for the giver, while the harness makes sure that the Feeldoe doesn't slip out.

Ah, the Feeldoe. I sadly haven't had the chance to try one of these little beauties yet. I have, however, read several reviews and comments concerning the product. It seems to me that unless you have some strong PC muscles, it would be rather difficult to use without the aid of a harness. I believe the Feeldoe, when coupled with an appropriate harness, would be an excellence choice for any couple regardless of orientation. I will say that for same sex partners, it would probably provide a more stimulating experience for both parties. Just my speculations.

I have the most amazing bf in the planet!! One day I told him about the feeldoe( I was really thinking of with other women) then later that week he came home with it!! I Luv him dearly.
We have been using it soley a few times and have decided it would be best to get a harness. It is wonderful in hitting the right spots for both of us, but I find I have to have sex with my legs closed to keep it from slipping out, which limits positions. I find I can hold it most of the time, but the more turned on you get(ie wet) the harder it is hold onto.
So I would suggest getting one forsure!!! But you may still end up investing in a harness, which we will be doing soon:}

In practical application, a harness works best. It holds up a dildo without much effort. However, the Feeldoe (while it can be held inside without help, it's VERY difficult) provides stimulation for the giver and added control. It also gives the sensation that the dildo/penis actually *belongs* to you since you can feel the movements on the giver end. However, to hold up the Feeldoe, a harness works best since it's a little heavy and difficult for most to hold it up on its own. Together, though, they really work the best.

Which is the best harness for the feeldoe?

I recently wrote a review for the feeldoe which addresses some of these issues... You can read it HERE (It is also in the rumble this week. We loved the feeldoe, but wished we had purchased a different model than we did. I have also used the Share, which is similar to the feeldoe.

The biggest problem with the feeldoe and share is that they might not stay in as easily as you want it to. However, use them in conjunction with a harness and your support is taken care of and you are "connected" with your partner as it is one toy inside both of you.... which is definately a great feeling.

As for which harness, I have only had experience with one, but it has been widely acclaimed as a great harness, the SpareParts Joque harness. I also reviewed that one, and can be read HERE

I still like the harness with other toys better than the Feeldoe/share, but they are different sensations, so I am bias due to that.....

If you've got the funds for it, I recommend a SpareParts. Most other harnesses have a backing behind the O-ring that blocks the bulb portion of it. While the Feeldoe can still be used with these, it takes away from the overall experience.

The Aslan Jaguar also provides a great ride for both the giver and the receiver. It has an open back, awesome looking, rides low and using a dil with a large base provides great clit stimulation.
The Spare Parts and Jaguar are great for the Feeldoe and the Tango double dils.
I definately need a harnes to hold a double dil, a harness prevents the double dil from slippng out just prior to my orgasm...

On many harnesses with a backing pad the pad is removable. I know this to be true on the SportSheets series, and have heard it is true on most others.

Aslan, Outlaw and SpareParts harnesses are pretty much all good for doubles, comfortable, and of good construction and design.

We always use our Feeldoe with a harness, just makes life easier for everyone involved. Would really like to try out the Spare Parts harness at some point as I've heard nothing but good things about it!

I'm actually considering getting a feeldoe soon, but I'd say having a harness helps more, because I have read a bunch of reviews on the feeldoes needing strong muscles to hold, but that it also works with a harness, so... both? lol

It's definitely subjective. They both have positive aspects where the other has negatives. So I agree that, should your finances allow it, you should invest in both.

The feeldoe can be difficult to hold steady when inserted but it won't just plop out. It's also a big heavy. But it does give the receiver and the giver stimulation at the same time and doesn't require interrupting sex to put on like a harness.

But a good harness will also be a lot more stable and not require trained kegel muscles to use. But it's not going to give the giver much stimulation while in use, unless you get a 'double' one or something. But hard thrusting is definitely easier with a harness.

But they're both great and worthwhile!

It seems that a double dildo (such as the Feeldoe) used with a harness gives more control since it's anchored to you in two places (the harness and your vagina).

You don't need a super expensive harness (although the SpareParts is supposed to be great), an inexpensive one (or even a pair of jeans or jean shorts) will give you the support you need to make play easier.

Note that for vaginal use holding the Feeldoe is a bit easier. The vagina isn't as tight as the anus, and missionary seems to keep it in better. Note that the strong curve of the Feeldoe might make certain positions uncomfortable for your partner.

For us:

double dildo without a harness - not so good

regular dildo with a harness - Good

double dildo with a harness - Very Good!

We recently purchased the Nexus Jr. and we both really like it. In fact, she liked it so much that she insisted that we also purchase the Nexus Sr.

I'm really glad to have found this post! My girlfriend and I were just having a discussion about which to invest in, and everyone's opinions definitely helped. We've decided to try a strap on with a harness first, since we haven't had experience with them before. If we like it, then we might invest in a Feeldoe.

Get a good harness to start with, one that can be reused later with a double (it helps, especially with certain positions).

Ever tried them together? Then she doesn't have to worry about the Feeldoe coming out.
