I've never engaged in fisting so I'm a poor respondent for your first question, though I'm sure there are many on the forum who can give some pointers. Beyond that, there are a whole bunch of discussions on here about fisting already that are undoubtedly full of tips/tricks for fisters (you can find those by doing a search for "fisting" and then chosing the "discussions" tab.
As for anal fisting, it can hurt if it's not properly introduced, or rushed, the body is an amazing thing and the anus can stretch to receive a fist in the same way that a vaginal cavity can, though it probably takes more time. There are threads about that too that come up when you do a search for fisting

I have read a lot about vaginal fisting, and many women say that it feels really good after you have the right technique. However, I have no experience in this but I am slightly curious.

I have tried it, but my partner could not fit his fist in my vagina. The most he could get was 4, somewhat 5, fingers.

I tried vaginal fisting with my ex-husband. We were REALLY horny, but he couldn't get his whole hand in. It was kind of frustrating. Haha. With practice, he probably could have. I haven't tried with my current boyfriend. It was just okay, but I could see how people would like it.

I am not turned on by the idea of fisting, I never really was interested in trying it and I don't think I will for a while. Tastes change so I can't say it's definite. I truly do not want to try this though.

I definitely would like to vaginal fisting one day. I think it would be an interesting experience. I draw the line at anal fisting, though. It just doesn't appeal to me.

To be honest, it sounds totally intimidating to me, like it would be incredibly painful -- which just makes me feel anxious about it! I find it very intriguing that some women love it though and I can't help but wonder about it.

Apparently the first time my GF fisted me was something I don't even remember. She was so good at preparing me and keeping my mind on the sensations I didn't even know she was doing it until a year later when it came up in conversation.

Something I'd like to try. Babeland is having a vaginal-fisting class next Thursday ; it must be legitimately pleasurable if they support it. I'm a guy, so I can't speak for vaginal...but anal fisting is quite nice if you and your partner have excellent trust and communication. Just make sure you stick to an important rule: no pain allowed.

It takes a lot of lube, patience and warming up, even with my husband's hands being fairly small. Sometimes it feels good, other times there isn't much room to actually do anything once his entire fist is inside of me. On rare occasions though, it's fun.

Have done it once (Vaginal) it was great in the moment but I was sore the next day. We can push babies out of there, and a fist is much smaller than a full term babies head you just need to make sure you are relaxed enough and use tons of lube.

take your time, i would not expect to be able to take a fist vaginally or anally the first time. LUBE, LUBE, LUBE. and more lube. It's pretty incredible.

I've not actually been successful with it yet, but trying has been extraordinarily enjoyable. The sensation of being stretched is absolutely fantastic.
