Women: Two women reproduction

Contributor: Bittenflame Bittenflame
If you were to ever have a child with your partner, would you consider doing the recently discovered way of 2 women reproduction? Why or why not?

For those who don't know, research has been conducted finding that doctors can now combine two females' eggs to create a female baby. This does involve alot of hormones, but it can be accomplished.

I would probably stay away from anything so new and involving a lot of hormones. =/

This doesn't really sound like it would be... safe.

Do you have any links or references?

Sounds like a pretty cool scientific advance. I wonder if one day they'll be able to put DNA from 2 sperm cells into an empty egg cell and achieve the same thing for male-male couples.

I would not like to be involved in the beginning stages of something so risky. They may sound selfish, and so be it. Now, if it is a few years down the road, they have done tons of testing and it doesn't seem to be horribly harming the woman, I would for sure do this.
